I know I'm in the minority, but I always thought the show was 90% utter crap / 10% just okay.
I'm watching tonight only because it's St. Valentine's "weekend" and I'm trying to make my wife somewhat happy.
40 years boiled down, and we are watching Californian's.
That's SNL in a nutshell.

Total agreement here. I've never been that big of a Saturday Night Live fan really. Certain bits and cast members are memorable but it never has been a show that I watch on a regular basis. I only watched a bit of the pre-show and around the first thirty to forty minutes and was already tired of it. I get my fix of the show from the various best of DVD' s of my favorite cast members.
