Which classic superhero TV series is your favorite?
Battle royale for classic super hero TV series. Which one was your favorite?
The Adventures of Superman: George Reeves made a good man of steel. The show is very stuck in it's time though.
Batman: Not much more to say about the Adam West series.
The Green Hornet: Not a superhero series necessarily but it had a unique tone that separated it from Batman and gives our first glimpse at Bruce Lee
Wonder Woman: Linda Carter defined the role and arguably still has it defined.
The Incredible Hulk: Great series that was carried well by Bill Bixby. Not comic accurate but still well done.
Spiderman: Short lived and not very faithful but fun live action series.
Superboy: Not a classic but it ran for four seasons and is fondly remembered by most people.
The Flash: Criminally under seen series that did justice to the scarlett speedster.
Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman: Dean Cain and Terry Hatcher made a good pairing. The show had a different tone mainly focusing on Clark and Lois in the first season and Superman in the later ones.
For me I'm torn between The Flash, or The Incredible Hulk but I think Hulk wins out. Bill Bixby was just so great in that series and even though it wasn't comic accurate who didn't get excited every time they saw David Banner's white eyes?

Batman: The Animated Series is not on that list, but it should be. It still holds up after all these years, and is hands down my favorite.

Also, you didn't specify between live action and animated.

The Incredible Hulk was pretty awesome, considering the limitations of the time during which it was shot...it was basically "The Fugitive" with a green monster.

I love the Adam West Batman. One of my all time favorite shows.
Flash is probably my second choice. I love that they cast John Wesley Shipp in the new one.

I assumed the OP was going for live action, and also assumed everyone would complain about not including TAS.
Shazam would qualify, though I doubt it's anyone's favorite.

Don't have a good enough memory to vote but I always liked Hulk, Spidey, WW, Batman and Greatest American Hero when I was little. Never could get into Lois & Clark. Not sure if I ever saw the others.

I voted for Spiderman, which I assume is referring to the short lived 1977 live action series "The Amazing Spider-Man", for purely personal nostalgic reasons. I know it's pretty crappy now, but I still remember how awesome I thought it was as a kid.

Loved Loved The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby
Watched bits and pieces as a kid. But, around 1997 or so, SyFy aired the entire series at 7am every day and I recorded it every day and watched the entire run over the course of a few months. Back then DVRs didn't exist, so it was all watched on VHS after I got off work.
I watched all 3 of the reunion movies when they aired on NBC back in the early 90's when I was in High School. Honestly, they weren't really good, because original showrunner Kenny Johnson wasn't involved.
When the DVDs came out, I picked them all up. Also, around 2008, I had the pleasure of meetinng Kenny Johnson at a comic convention in LA. Super nice guy. Signed my DVD and I also bought a copy of his new V book that he also signed. One of the best experiences I've had meeting someone at a convention.

Nothing beats the childhood nostalgia I hold for Adam West's Batman or Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman. Though looking at all these shows from an adult perspective, I don't think any of them beat The Incredible Hulk in writing or acting.
The first couple of seasons for Lois and Clark are actually pretty entertaining. I watched the show's entire run a couple of years back, it is a very respectful take on Superman and his mythos until they ran out of ideas in the last two seasons. Except for making Lois more of a leading lady in the stories than usual, they really don't mess with either character's core personality.

I'm actually quite astonished that Kenny Johnson hasn't worked in TV since the mid to late 1990's when he produced the Alien Nation reunion movies.
I met him when he was 66 and he's still pretty sharp for his age. I don't know if he just doesn't want to do it anymore or doesn't have any creative juices left in him. Or if he is in fact retired and just enjoying life now. When I met him he was promoting his new book V the next generation which was a sequel to the 1980's TV series.

The Incredible Hulk was my favorite out of those listed though I do have a soft spot in my heart (or head) for Shazam! Actually Isis is a better show than Shazam! after revisiting it a few years ago and I enjoyed it more though I barely remembered watching it when it was out because I thought it was a "girls show."
Mainly remembered Isis due to the crossovers with Shazam and and the Shazam/Isis Power Hour!

I would say the Adam West/Burt Ward Batman series is my favorite. It introduced me to the characters at a young age and I credit it along with Batman: The Animated Series and Tim Burton's Batman for my love of the character.

It is definitely between Batman and Greatest American Hero ..
Right now I'm gonna pick Batman b/c I loved it so much as a kid, but Bill Maxwell is one of my all-time favorite TV characters.
