Got an email from ABC that there is going to be a "special announcement" after this airs. Wonder what it is.

Anyone else with Verizon Fios having problems with ABC not coming in? I just went to watch this on my DVR and all i've got it a black screen. Tuning in to ABC "live" through Fios is the same.

I missed when Kyle MacLachlan referred to his daughter last time we saw him, I feel like moron of the year. His performance is wonderfully spooky. So Raina has been able to coordinate all of this in 48 hours? That conversation lasted a lot longer than two minutes. Is the Agent 33 character someone to whom we've been introduced previously? Because I don't remember her. Or has she been introduced recently and we just take from the dialogue that she was one of SHIELD's top agents? Or is the Palicki character someone else entirely and I'm just a fool? That countdown ending before the commercial was cliffhanger TV at its finest. Good stuff. Does no one in HYDRA use a gun? She beats them all with kung fu, then they're shooting once they get to the roof? Coulson was pretty ruthless, damn. That FX shot of the leap of faith was nice. Why is he teaming up with HYDRA?

Great episode. This show has really hit its stride; like night and day comparing the first episodes to now.
Kyle MacLachlan is doing a great job in this role so far, conveying the unstable mastermind. His scenes were definitely eerie and I'm looking forward to seeing where they're going with this aspect of the storyline and his relationship to Skye.
Glad to have Simmons back with the rest of the team; will be interesting to see how she interacts with Fitz now. I loved Coulson calling Raina's bluff with Mockingbird as his ace in the hole. The look on his face as the clock counted down was priceless.
Nice reference to Mockingbird having blonde hair in the comics. I wonder how they'll handle her relationship with Hawkeye. I feel like Renner is too big a star to be on the show semi-regularly in order to develop it that way, so maybe at some point they'll transition her into the movies and do it that way.

Seeing Adrianne Palicki reaffirms to me that she should be reprising the role of WW.
Good episode but man that was a quick, 'my dad is alive, my dad is a monster, I'll help you take him down'

Holy shit, Adrianne Palicki was awesome in this episode.
I hope we get to see more of Ms. Bobbi Morse in future episodes. I read it's a recurring role, so there is a strong chance she'll return.

A good read here. It's an interview with Ms. Palicki about her role tonight. There is potential for Mockingbird to cross over into the MCU movies. I'm not familiar with the comic, but apparently they re-wrote the part and she's the ex wife of Hunter, not Hawkeye.
And yes, I did kind of notice Ms. Simmons was a little perkier in this episode compared to past weeks.

There do seem to have been some surgical alterations specifically for her undercover role.

I guess it's just me, but I didn't think Simmons was anything special in this episode (although i've always found her attractive). You guys had me thinking she might be in something a little more revealing
I enjoyed the episode a lot, and Bobbi Morse was great if not predictable. Loved the Coulson/Reina interaction as well. I actually didn't care for Skye's father; he seemed kind of a generic mad man, and I had it in my head that his reveal would be much more interesting given Skye's potential alien origin.

I really enjoyed this episode. Even though I knew Simmons was going to make it out, I still felt genuine tension for her, so job well done, producers/director/writers/actors. I hope they move things forward with her and Fitz. I'm a sappy romantic, so I want them to be together, but even if that's not to be, I hope we don't get a season of Fitz longing for her while she's oblivious.
Also, I doubt it will ever happen, but I'd love to have them bring in Jeremy Renner for an episode to interact with Palicki (in the comics, Hawkeye and Mockingbird were a couple; it looks like maybe they are transferring some of that backstory to Hunter).
I wonder if putting Palicki on an invisible jet was an intentional easter egg or just a happy coincidence.

Either Elizabeth Henstridge is really short, or Palicki is really tall. Them walking down the hallway and there being like a foot of height difference made me
Outside of that, liked seeing Mockingbird. I could easily see her crossing over to the movies. Hope we get to see her kicking ass in a bunch more episodes this year.
