Paliciki is really tall, just looked her up and she's 5'11. Looks like Henstridge is 5'4"

But yeah, really hoping she crosses over to the movies, even if it's a small background role.

She's actually taller than Jeremy Renner, if they were to ever put them together on screen.

Now that you mention it, you could throw ScarJo, Palicki, and Renner together and get a pretty kick ass movie out of it.

Man, that would be a great movie potential right there.

I enjoyed the episode a lot, and Bobbi Morse was great if not predictable. Loved the Coulson/Reina interaction as well. I actually didn't care for Skye's father; he seemed kind of a generic mad man, and I had it in my head that his reveal would be much more interesting given Skye's potential alien origin.
Pay closer attention to the scenes where she is running. So when is Marvel going to release The Secret Women of Shield Swimsuit Calendar?

The Inhumans have been mentioned in other threads. I would think Inhumans screen rights would be tied up with the F.F. The Kree also started with the F.F and have also been mentioned a lot, so maybe not. If we are dealing with Inhumans, wondering if MacLachlan is Maximus.

Just make a line about him not minding the climb or something and move on. She was awesome though. Her name sounded familiar to me. It's cuz she was to be in that WW series that supposedly sucked pretty hard to not make it past the pilot. Also she was in GI JOE 2. I barely remember that so she came off new to me.

I'm glad this season is better. The episode was pretty decent. Uneven as it has been but it's getter stronger.

I liked the introduction of Mockingbird in this episode. She looks believable in the action scenes, which is more than I can say for some of the other actors on this show. I never like episodes where a central character's life is supposedly in jeopardy. I never once felt like Simmons was in jeopardy and surprised she didn't get brainwashed or something at Hydra.

Maybe she did. Notice that "comply" line at the end? She could be a sleeper...

Agent 33 was introduced solely as a way of showing how Hydra brainwashed people. She has no significance in the overall story. She was then used in the following episode to impersonate May.

Palicki is someone else entirely (Bobbi Morse- mockingbird), who looks nothing like Agent 33, aside from being female. I'd say you should watch the episodes more closely. What's closer than "not at all"?

I did like how Palicki got to ride an invisible jet. If it wasn't intentional, it was a funny coincidence.

I picked up on that immediately too and chuckled to myself.

They've definitely cast the role with an eye on future movie possibilities. Hawkeye is never going to get his own solo movie (at least with Renner in the role), so I could see Mockingbird briefly pop up in an Avengers movie.

How have you never seen Friday Night Lights?

In any case, I was waiting for the double-double cross, but I guess it was because given the character it was pretty obvious she was a mole for SHIELD; take away that background and it becomes more of a surprise. At first I thought that they were hinting that Mockingbird was a spy when she went running at the Hydra head, and they didn't show her beating him up, though that was probably to save budget...

Cast is growing but they're very distinct from each other, and I'm glad that the new SHIELD at least has more field agents than they've shown.
