Yeah, young Nucky is a good actor/impersonator. Too bad they went with the fake teeth that are so distracting.

I think it's weird that they've made Eli's son this pillar of righteous justice this season when just last year he was killing a bully with diarrhea medicine and sending his roommate to prison for it.

Whatever happened to really life Nucky Johnson will have nothing to do with Nucky Thompson. I'm pretty damn sure our Nucky will not make it out of the last episode alive (nor should he). I do find it weird that they're apparently closing with a redemption arc for Gillian of all characters. Not where I would have gone.

I think this season was fantastic and loved the idea of the Godfather II-type flashbacks. Loved everything about this season.

Big difference is that we were pretty clueless as to Vito's origins, where as we already have a good idea about Nucky's.

I've noticed a lot of people have complained about young Nucky's teeth looking too fake. Based on other pictures of the actor, I'm not entirely sure they did all that much to enhance his teeth.

I don't care for the flashbacks either. They are just depicting information we were already told previously and seem like filler. That's particularly strange since everything else has been so rushed. So far, I've been very underwhelmed by this season. But who knows, maybe they'll turn it around with a killer finale, but I kind of doubt it.

the episode count really did mean a lot of stuff had to be rushed, and it's sad that the stuff they aren't rushing is what we're getting, cause man, I really wish they flipped it around.

I think this episode had 3 writers. I assume Terence Winter will write the finale I hope.

At first I thought the young Gillian was maybe a young Jim Darmody as a kid since Nucky did not know if she was a boy or a girl.

I assume there will be no HBO spinoff series with Luciano, Capone, and Bugsy.

Disappointed that Scorsese couldn't schedule the time to direct another episode over the entire duration of the series.

Also whats up with Mark Wahlberg getting an EP credit? I haven't seen him talk about the show one iota, or heard his name brought up by any of the main players.

Wahlberg has been EP since the shows beginning. He's talked about the show in the past but not as much as Winter or Scorsese.

I know he's been on board since the start but was wondering about his input.

Doesn't take much to get an EP credit on HBO. McConaughey And Harrelson got one on True Detective just for agreeing to do the show. Marky Mark got one here for being involved with the project at the beginning and bringing Terrence Winter on board.
