Fun episode and nice bringing the Pontiac Bandit. Loved seeing keener Santiago too.

Re: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX) - Season 2 Thread - Sundays starting 9/28/14

This week's wasn't my favorite, as it was a bit cliche-ridden, plus the Peralta/Boyle friendship is not a strong A-plot (like a lot of things on B-99, I think it's best in the background).

However, the opening with Holt and his "gotcha" line to Wunch was comedy gold, and worth the space on my DVR alone

I didn't think the Peralta/Boyle story was that good either, and you make a good point how it's best in the background. Despite that I liked the episode. Gina again was hilarious. It seems like the 99 is influencing Holt's personality.

Holt has definitely changed and is nice for the writers to acknowledge that. His reaction to Rosa coming down the steps was priceless.
I was one of the people that hated Gina in S1 but I have to say that she's quickly becoming one of my favourite characters on the show. Even though she's still "mean", her hookup with Boyle has changed her character for the better.

BTW, new episode tonight.

Got a good laugh out of the Blair Underwood joke.

I would have liked more of the episode to have focused on what we got in the last 30 seconds.

I don't think they want to show us too much of Holt becoming part of the Crew just yet. You can tell he has changed and I don't think he has to work hard to drop to their level now.

They missed the perfect opportunity to show Santiago in a bikini.

You know, there are reasons to watch Brooklyn Nine Nine other than ogling Melissa Fumero.

Like say, ogling Stephanie Beatriz...

Oh, and I guess it's pretty funny too.

Finally caught one live last night. I used to miss them but catch them on demand or online, but I noticed they are not showing them that way now. Maybe it's because they offer them on PSN for 2 bucks an ep?

I liked Jake's line about why he used 1 dollar bills to fill the briefcase

Holt is pretty much the weirdest character on the show. Braugher just nails the deadpan so well. Except for the gay thing, I like to think of him as Frank Pembleton becoming a lieutenant in the future.

I'd like to see Holt meet Ron Swanson. That would be epic.

Great episode on Sunday! The workout scenes and Santiago driving Holt back to the station were priceless. This show also keeps continuity tight and brings back little tidbits from previous episodes. Plus, it wouldn't surprise me if two of Boyle's dogs are the same ones he got from Holt in S1 after he got shot.

Yeah, good episode this week. Nearly everyone had some funny lines. The Jake and Terry scenes were pretty funny.

Fox gave an early renewal for a 3rd season of B99. Now if more people would start watching the show, it would be great.

Holt delivers at least one line per episode that makes me have to pause the show because I'm laughing so hard and then rewind it a couple times.
