I enjoyed the Dunphy's antics and the stuff with Gloria and Jay.
I when Gloria was dressed like a slob and haphazardly put on the lipstick. Also at the end when she came back in a second all dolled up.
I don't know if age is creeping up to Sophia Vergara, but she really cakes on a lot of makeup. I mean she's starting to look almost like a clown. I mentioned this in a thread maybe 2 seasons ago?

Saw this again last night and it got no better on a second viewing. In fact Mitch was so inappropriate in a work environment it was painful to watch. Ariel Winters is definitely putting on a few lb's, Sarah Hyland's head didn't look so much like a bobble-head in this one. Phil is the savior of this show.

Give me a fucking break. If a straight couple behave the same way in the office, their colleagues would have reacted the same way. Sure chaulk this up one to homophobes, because it couldn't be that their behaviors are just plain unbearable and their "problems" are always so fucking petty.

I can't believe this series is in Season 6 already...seems like it just started a few years back.
Anyway, after all the focus on Mitch and Cam in Season 5, I was hoping they'd grow up a bit as a couple this year, but it's the same old/same old with those two.
What happened to Haley's new boyfriend from last year...is that actor coming back? I didn't like him at first, but when one of the posters here noted he was essentially a young version of Phil, I enjoyed his scenes much more.
Too bad Luke had to go and grow up on us...he was comedy gold on this show when he was younger.
I think I watch this purely out of habit now than anything else...it's watchable, to be sure, but we really only get three or four hilarious episodes a season now...as opposed to Seasons 2 and 3, when it was hitting it out of the park almost every week.

That's what I think they were trying to get across. Honestly, the same scene could have been played with an overly-affectionate newlywed husband/wife and been just as uncomfortable.

Cam and Mitchell were unbearable. Even worse, there was no comedic payoff.
The Dunphys were great. Jay and Gloria were pretty good as well.
