Sydney was looking good. Spencer's still my fave though. Emily is going to be watching her now.

Will they get Aria's parents back together? Maybe her dad is A, they've kept him around in the background for years after his intended purpose has mostly been done on the show.

It looks like Aria's parents will get back together later on and I'm still suspicious of the dad. I liked the episode minus the Hanna stuff. WTF was with Sydney being dressed almost the same as Jenna?

Pretty Little Liars (S5E10) -- "A Dark Ali" -- 8/12/14
The pressure is on for Alison to identify the man police have in custody for her kidnapping, but the Liars know if she does it would be sending an innocent man to prison and possibly walking right into an "A" trap. With Emily trying to convince Ali not to play into "A's" hand, Spencer comes up with a plan B in case Ali decides to make the wrong decision.
Meanwhile, fed up with all of the Ali drama, Hanna tries to lead a "normal" teenage life.

Was anyone surprised Ali was behind Cyrus? Melissa is finally ready to tell Spencer the truth. I doubt that happens. A has a candy striper outfit? Meaning she's already worn it or is going to wear it? And congrats to Emily for finally turning on Ali.

Ok episode, a bit on the filler side. I laughed at the Toby becoming a cop stuff. The finale next week looks good.

Ok, they are dropping all kinds of hints that
is A. Can it be that obvious or is it another red herring?
Thought Melissa was a goner when she decided to make the tape. The Ravenswood stuff was unnecessary. Next week should be killer.

I think they dropped that Ravenswood stuff in to promote that supernatural movie. I bet that is the end of Caleb's references to a canceled series.

Pretty Little Liars (S5E12) - Finale - "Taking This One To The Grave" - 8/26/14
With Alison leading them down a dangerous path and "A" barring them from telling the police the truth, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer feel trapped and are desperate to find a way out of this mess. With nothing else to lose, could the PLLs lose everything by putting their faith in a possibly untrustworthy ally?
Meanwhile, Alison begins to build up her own army now that the PLLs have turned their back on her.
Episode 12 of 24
Tonight is the summer finale.
2nd half of the season should air in 2015.
No Halloween episode this year. Instead ABC Family is airing a "Fan Appreciation special" during October with the cast answering questions and such.
There will be a Christmas episode in December called "How A stole Christmas"

You could see it was going to be her from the beginning of the episode. I Hate that she's the one. Wondering if she got a better deal from another show...

Wow, RIP Mona. It was pretty clear in the beginning that it was her, but I'm still surprised they killed someone that significant.
There has to be more to the Alison being "A" story. I'm betting either the killer was wearing a blonde wig or another possibility is:

As soon as we met Mona's mom it was pretty obvious.

I don't follow spoilers for PLL, so Mona's death was a surprise until the final 20 minutes or so of the episode. That was a rather gruesome image to end the episode with, I guess they wanted to confirm she was truly dead.
This half season was PLL's most entertaining since probably its first season.

Anyone know why they decided not to have their traditional Halloween episode this year?
