Is that unique for Mike Smith and Thomas Dimitroff the GM to be in the same room when they cut a player?

I doubt you would see Trent Baalke and Jim Harbaugh in the same room talking to a player who is going to be cut.

As awesome as that was, do you think it really works on players nowadays? Seems like they all act so entitled that they'd just shrug that off as some old man being off his meds.

I think it works for Rookies and players on the bubble and most of Special Teams are those guys.

Coach even called em out, do you have Gold Jacket, do you have a Pro Bowl, you can't play that way!

Must See TV

Bryan Cox needs his own reality show. I could have listened to him talk about movies for the entire hour.

I knew someone was going to see Adam Sandler's movies. We've ID'd one of them, now.

“I like the movies that when you go to the newspaper to look at the review they got three stars, because those damn people don't know what the hell they be talking about. I want to go see them movies. I don't wanna go see the ones for the Academy Awards; them's some boring-ass movies.”

Hard Knocks is always very well made and fun to watch

I thought this season there was too much focus on the rookies and almost no coverage of the regular senior team members

first year i've watched the show. it was interesting to get an inside perspective, but it was pretty bland. my buddy still talks about the Jets one from a few years ago and how awesome it was.

Like a whole commercial for pretzel m&m's and everyone but the Jets knowing Marc Sanchez sucked.

I, too, thought this was the least entertaining season of HARD KNOCKS. I think Atlanta's organization is just too well-run for entertaining TV. Let's go back to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys next year.

Oh, and that's one odd-looking stadium the Falcons are building.

They had Roddy White and Osi but not a lot of scenes with them and hard to understand what Roddy is saying most of the time.

The 2010 Jets and the 2001 Ravens were the best seasons.

The 2001 Ravens had a lot of veteran star players like Shannon Sharpe, Rod Woodson, etc and was fun to watch a defending champion behind the scenes.

I've watched every season since they revived it from the dead in 2007, and this was easily the most bland the show has been. The 2010 Jets season is still stick in my head.

It's one of the better reality shows on TV. The entertainment value will always be contingent on the team and its coaches. It doesn't help that the Falcons are incredibly dull.

If you've ever actually watched the show, that's its point. The veterans hardly have any screen presence.
