For those interested, NBC will burn off the remaining episodes of Allegiance on NBC.com. I assume Hulu Plus as well.

FOX renewed Sleepy Hollow for a third season.

They also hired a new showrunner. It's Clifton Campbell, the creator of The Glades from A&E.

That is interesting and partially unexpected. I have a feeling Sleepy Hollow will get made over with possible cast additions.

Reports are they plan to make season 3 more procedural/case of the week. Probably something similar to Supernatural's early days.

By the way, it was picked up for 18 episodes.

I'm pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the second season overall but I could see why some fans were turned off.

I would have thought the mythology attracted rather than repelled viewers.

What I think they will do is move away from connecting everything to Ichabod's Revolutionary past and his family. That did become limiting as the two seasons wore on.

The Musketeers was renewed for a 3rd season by the BBC. They start shooting it next month. Most likely it will air on BBC America as well.

I'm still a fan, but I've only watched about 5 episodes of season 2 so far.

Musketeers actually picks up steam the deeper you go in season two. It also tells a complete story with few loose threads, it ended in a way that a couple of the actors could be written out for season 3.

Surprised they stopped shy of calling it the final season.

The Americans renewed by FX for a 4th season

I guess Starseed won't be watching anymore since he proclaimed he was done 2 weeks ago.

Bloodline on Netflix was renewed for a 2nd season.

The cast must be jumping for joy that they can spend another 8 months in the Keys.

Not cancellation renewal news, but I saw USATODAY was running a Save a Show poll so I took the opportunity to vote. Thought others might be interested:

This UK TV news website is making some predictions on what will be cancelled. For the record, they broke the news 1st about the X Files coming back, so they are relatively reliable in their information.

Here's a short recap on what they think is dead:

ABC:

Resurrection, Forever, Revenge, American Crime (it's an anthology series, so this season's story should be wrapped up)

CBS:

Stalker, Battle Creek

The CW:

Hart of Dixie

FOX:

The Following, The Mindy Project, Backstrom

NBC:

One Big Happy, State of Affairs, Marry Me and About a Boy

I hope they are wrong. I've enjoyed Forever so much and will be well upset if it is cancelled.

I really expected Constantine to be on that list... but I'm happy it's not.

They think it could get a 2nd season, but the chances are slim. The showrunner Daniel Cerone posted on Twitter recently that he had a pitch meeting with NBC to pitch a 2nd season. So that's why it's not entirely dead as of right now.
