Battlestar Galactica (2004) and The Borgias are both on Netflix.

I still have to finish the last two seasons of Burn Notice but it's been a great show so far.

I could understand watching the mindless procedurals while on a treadmill or whatever, but I have no idea how someone could follow an intensely serialized program like The Shield while working out.

How can anyone pay attention to a serialized show with a lot of plot while exercising? This kind of reminds me of an old thread from years ago with some poster asking...."help me pick out some shows to help me lose weight"


And Mad Men isn't over yet. 1 more season left (7 this April and 7 in 2015)

Arrested Development is great.

I just watched all five seasons of Fringe and really enjoyed it.

Is HBO Go an option? If so, pretty much any of their series is a good choice.

And I like something that absorbs as much of my concentration as possible when I'm on the treadmill. It's walking/jogging/running -- how much attention do I need to pay to that? How much attention can I pay to that before I get sick of it?

Too bad you need cable and HBO to watch HBO shows. I don't know why they don't offer a streaming-only option.

Because the cable companies won't allow it. They don't have many gems to get people to sign up. HBO is one of them.

But if your parents or a friend has HBO and isn't using HBO Go, you can always "borrow" their account.

Wow, didn't realize how out of touch with popular culture I am. Chuck is the only one on the list I followed so by process of elimination that's the one I would recommend.

Cheers has aged well. The writing was so good, and the show is still extremely funny. You could also add Twin Peaks and Veronica Mars to the list.
