I guess the montage at the end of the season premier wasn't a clip-reel for the upcoming season, but just what Archer assumed was going to go down after seeing all that coke.

Same here. Which makes me think the entire season would have worked better as a smaller arc a la 'Heart of Archness'.

I really enjoyed the Palace episodes more than the latest one, but it was still very good.

Overall the season has been enjoyable with one or two episodes that, while funny, didn't click for me.

I wish Lauren Cohan would dress that way on The Walking Dead.

Yeah, not surprised about the baby and given the mention earlier about them going back to the spy stuff, not surprised to see some deal made where they end up with ISIS again. Not a great episode, but I still did enjoy the last few episodes and liked how they wrapped things up this episode.

Is Abijean play on "aubergine"?

Love that they made a quadroon callback. The kid is black...ish.

You're tellin' me. IMO, the worst episode from the series ever.

I thought some of the episodes earlier on this season were worse. I liked a few things in this, particularly the nerve gas, the random pilot discussion, and everyone guessing black guy for the dad.

I just re-watched the montage and 98% of it happened in during the season. I don't know where the other few clips came are supposed to be from.

Speaking of which, uproxx put up some gifs of stuff that didn't make it. Interestingly enough, a lot of these seem to include stuff they did have like the president and the tiger.

I'm hoping they get back to the roots next season, we haven't seen barry/kgb/odin for a couple of seasons.

Also, his other kid.

What happened to him? Did the mother take him away? I can't remember.

An odd, out of the blue question ...

Based on the "dissolution" of ISIS for Season 5 and current world events, will the ISIS moniker be abandoned for future seasons?

I think they prefer ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) now.

I was thinking about the same thing the other day. Knowing the sensitivities of Hollywood, I imagine the name quickly gets shuttered on Archer. This would be imposed on them by the network.

I was hoping they might work it into a storyline, with confusion over the name and trying to pick out a new one.

I bet there will still be allusions to the reason for the name change or "the fact that nobody talks about it."

If only reading future events on the stock market indices were as simple as knowing Hollywood.
