I hope Fox sticks with B99. How bad did Mindy do in its first year? I don't know anyone who watches it. They should just replace Dads with Raising Hope.

New Girl at it's high point got over 10m viewers and over 3.0.

The Fox comedies have really sunk in the last 2 years.

Fox comedies have been pretty low for a while now, it's nothing new.

These companies do consider DVR numbers as well believe it or not, which is why Mindy Project and Brooklyn Nine-Nine have a better shot of staying on air than Dads.

CBS's We are Men is cancelled after 2 airings. Repeats of TBBT will take its place until Mike and Molly returns in November. I think CBS may swing the axe pretty quick on some of its other failing shows i.e. moms, TGW, etc.

I didn't think it was as bad as several others including some in their second season

The Good Wife will absolutely not get cancelled. CBS has streaming deals with Amazon and Hulu for it and just signed a syndication deal with Hallmark channel. It's making enough money to keep the show valuable to the network.

Plus, it's regarded as one of their prestige shows for the Emmys.

It's numbers on Sunday aren't bad, but football overrun does hurt it.

I thought it was better than the other new comedies I've seen.

From what I read, 2 Broke Girls will be moving into the We Are Men slot.

I think it's good that stations look at DVR and I wonder if they use OnDemand as well. How are Dads vs Brooklyn and Mindy numbers when factoring in DVR?

One thing to keep in mind is that certain networks care very little about DVR ratings. CBS does not pay much attention to them, for instance.

Doesn't that have more to do with the demo? CBS tends to skew older, and older viewers don't use newer technology? Might just be a generalization.

And from what I've read CBS does care about them, which is why Hawaii Five-O was renewed. Otherwise CSI will likely be canceled this season. Another series low for Revolution last night.

After average ratings for AHS: Asylum, last nights debut of AHS: Coven was the highest rated episode in the franchise.

For the premiere: 5.54m viewers, 3.87m in 18 - 49 (3.0 rating) -- up 44% in total viewers and 39% in 18 - 49.
For the night: 7.78m total viewers, 5.36m in 18 - 49

That's really low for L&O: SVU as well.

It's a shame more people aren't watching Arrow. That season premiere was fantastic. Give Arrow the Agents of Shield slot on ABC and it would pull better ratings.

Might be. I'm 68, use a 4-tuner TIVO Roamio. Since I watch OTA, I must admit I've never had to deploy more than 3 of the tuners at one time.

You'd figure CBS would pay attention to it, since they want every bit of 18 - 49 that they can get.

Alright so Welcome to the Family and Sean Saves the World just saved Parks and Rec for another season. The CW was ahead of NBC at 8:30.

I am starting to get nervous about Elementary's ratings in that slot. The show is still great but I don't know if it can last in that slot without the Person of Interest lead-in.

I wouldn't be surprised if Welcome to the Family is cancelled by Monday and Community comes back in a few weeks.

Will admit to being wrong. Two and a Half is still pulling in strong numbers. Not sure how but numbers don't lie.

Actually, it's getting close to cancellation territory for CBS with those ratings. I believe that was the lowest episode ratings wise, both total audience (I don't think it's been below 10m before) and demo (2.3 is just low for it, it's now being beat by How I Met Your Mother.)

How did Once do compared to other ABC shows at the time?
