I somehow missed the fact this was directed by Lord and Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). That's cool.

Andre Braugher is such a great actor, he deserves better than this.

I will always be bitter that 'Gideon's Crossing' was cancelled so early, and on such a big plot point, too.

It reminded me of Bakersfield, P.D. The Disco Strangler looked a bit like Christopher Guest.

What? This is a great role to compliment his detective role on Homicide from 1993.

Tuesdays are tough. Saw the pilot and liked it a lot, but it's opposite NCIS which my wife loves and SHIELD which I'm excited about checking out. The DVR will be smoking. Can the DVR's record 2 at a time? I don't think I ever tried.

Depends on your service, the Comcast X1 DVR can do 5.

Almost every modern can record 2 shows, but the problem is that you can't watch a third live unless you have a really good one. Well, you can if you have an antenna, or watch in another room, or have Clear QAM on the cable.

I have been catching up with this show over the summer and must say I am really impressed. It is funny as hell and will keep watching.

Nice to see it's on Netflix. I only got into it about half way through the season, so I'm getting all caught up.

We thought it was funny enough on the first run through to keep the shows on our TiVo. Now, during the summer, we're rewatching every evening and thoroughly enjoying it. Once you're more familiar with the characters, going back and watching the early episodes make them even funnier.
