It seems Fuller fucked it himself. Anyways, I really wish this show was on HBO or Showtime it'd probably have a better chance of getting renewed.

This is a criticism of them, not you for posting the info.

Bryan Fuller announced it today. "Ceuf" is available on ITunes. The full episode.

I guess I will get it off Amazon Instant. At least I can watch it on my TV through that as opposed to ITunes.

I have a feeling NBC will end up airing it in its entirety over the summer at some point.

Alright, so I just watched the entire episode.
Honestly, I don't see what the big deal was. The storyline with Molly Shannon using the brainwashed kids to kill wasn't particularly violent or insensitive. Fuller totally overreacted.
The storyline that stood out the most was Hannibal and Abigail's relationship developing. He's taken a really unhealthy interest in her. As said before, seems like he's molding her into some kind of apprentice. And Will is still crazy.
I wouldn't say this episode is mandatory viewing, the storyline for the most part is self contained.
I actually thought episode 5 was a better episode and more graphic than this one.

SPECIAL NOTE:
This episode is not airing on NBC in the US, or in Canada, due to sensitivity over the Newtown shooting and Boston bombing. Instead, those markets will skip it and air Episode 5, "Coquilles", instead. International markets will still air this episode, and it may still be made available for online streaming.

Watched the episode, and I think the whole thing was a hilarious over-reaction, given how sensitively the subject was handled. Episode 5, on the other hand, was shockingly graphic, making the decision to not air this one completely bone-headed.
That being said, I really liked the episode. It made me realize, this isn't a show about crime or death. It's a show about how we handle those things. We're only five episodes in, but this is already one of my favorite shows currently on TV.

Yeah it was a solid episode. I like this show because of Mads. I also like that the show has the balls to explore dark places, and has some good production values. But if Mads wasn't owning the show completely with his stellar talent, I wouldn't have bothered to watch episode 2.
Some weak actors in the cast, and the lead, hopefully, will come to understand 'less is more' at some point.

I'm really enjoying Hannibal.
Hope it gets picked up for a second season, though the ratings aren't that good.

Agree. Will seeing the aftermath of all these murders is taking a toll on him psychologically. He's seriously descending into madness, which I find fascinating about his character. It's one of the reasons why Will left the FBI and retired in Manhunter. The job took a toll on him.

An NBC affiliate is killing off Hannibal.
Utah’s Salt Lake City station KSL TV posted on their Facebook page that it will no longer air the ratings-challenged freshman drama. “After viewing the past few episodes, as well as receiving numerous complaints from viewers, KSL TV will cancel the airing of the NBC show Hannibal on Thursday evenings,” the station posted. “This decision was made due to the extensive graphic nature of this show. The time slot will be replaced with a special edition of KSL 5 News at 9 p.m. NBC remains a valued partner to KSL TV. KSL is confident that with the proliferation of digital media, those who wish to view the program can easily do so.”
Sources say Hannibal will find a way into the market via the local CW affiliate. “We’re going across the street, as they say,” a source said.
NBC had no comment. The broadcast network, along with showrunner Bryan Fuller, previously decided to pull one of the episodes nationwide due to the hour containing disturbing subject matter in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing. NBC then offered the episode online.
KSL is owned by the Church of Latter Day Saints and has a history of refusing to air NBC programming that it finds objectionable. Previously the station refused to run the vaguely risque short-lived drama The Playboy Club and tolerance-endorsing comedy The New Normal.

Spoiler:
I believe this is discussed in the Ed Norton Red Dragon in the opening scenes, but this attempt DRASTICALLY enhances and shows some intriuging complexities in their relationship that had up to this point been left to the imagination (I think - I never read HANNIBAL RISING).
Really too bad if it gets cancelled... This ought to have been pitched to Showtime to run paired with the final season of Dexter.
