AMC is back on for me.

Walking Dead, live. Tonight.

So it was the walking dead, not Breaking Bad or Mad Men that made Dish Cave.

I hope AMC remembers this the next time they feel like dicking Walking Dead around.

I'd guess in truth it's a combination. AMC saw the trends from not having Mad Men and Breaking Bad, and they got some very preliminary data that suggested they were going to have the same problems with subscribers over Walking Dead. At the same time, there was likely some movement on the bigger issue.

Welp

Turner Broadcasting’s CNN, Cartoon Network and six other networks went dark on Dish Network early Eastern time Tuesday, after the companies were unable to come to terms on a new distribution deal.

Removed from the Dish lineup were: Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, CNN, CNN en Espaņol, HLN, truTV and Turner Classic Movies. Turner’s two biggest networks, TBS and TNT, are unaffected by the dispute.

How does HLN stay on the air without disputes?

You mean the HLN that's been taken off the air in this dispute?

Why do people still subscribe to Dish? Do they have 8-tracks in their cars and flip phones?

It's weird when a thread gets bumped on the same day as the last post.

Lower prices and dramatically better customer service than the other options in my area - especially the cable company.

I'm sure this dispute will be settled by then, but no TruTV will be a big deal come March, since some of the March Madness games are on it. It's a worthless channel otherwise.
