Yea, that totally ended as if Harmon knows this won't be renewed. Fully expecting it to be cancelled now.

Really? It just felt like they were ramping up for the season finale to me. Maybe it could work as a series finale, but then again there are still 4 more episodes before we get a realistic feeling as to Harmon's intent.

I'd expect this will be renewed, if only because usually when a show gets about this far into its run it makes sense for the production company to have more episodes for marketing the show down the road and often therefore will do crazy stuff like give the network a bit of the action to make it happen or slash the licensing.

If Chevy goes, they could get either Dan Ackroyd or Jon Lovitz to take his place. They seem to be the go-to guys to take over for other former SNL actors.

Bill Murray would be the far cooler option for taking over (though obviously he's far busier at this stage than the likes of Jon or Dan).

Community is still funny, but the show has taken way too many creative risks this season that simply haven't paid off. The network should have tried reining in some of the wilder concepts. It's why NBC is in dead last place.

I don't think it's going to be cancelled because it's a bad show (I LIKE the show) but because of the ratings and the ending of that last episode felt like a "goodbye, I don't think we'll be back" from Harmon.

I don't think Harmon would have made his "goodbye, I don't think we'll be back" episode be #18 out of 22. My guess is if he really feels that way, he'll do it in #22.

Didn't someone say NBC is airing episodes out of order? Maybe 18 was actually supposed to be 22. Again I hope it's not cancelled, but that felt like a goodbye episode.

Harmon said in his Tweet that episode 21 is the actual season finale. He said they are out of order based on just production code. So I guess that's a relief.

Well, I really hope that 30 Rock and Community gets renewed. Thursday night NBC has the only sitcoms that I really care about. 30 Rock is the only show that I'm always really looking forward to watching Friday mornings.

Look if one of us is acting like a woman, it's you. I gave you solid advice. If you think that this episode would be a good series finale then if you stop watching the show now, you'll have more time to watch other shows. I can't imagine what I would do with all the extra time I'd have if I had acted like the last episode of Season 8 of the X-Files was the series finale, the last episode of season 7 of Happy Days was the series finale, or the last episode of season 10 of the Simpsons?

I worded that poorly, I know he was Omar from the wire but wasn't sure he was the Biology teacher.

I think he was underused and that's a shame he could have been a great addition to the show.
