Synopsis:

Spoiler:
KENNETH (JACK MCBRAYER) TAKES DRASTIC MEASURES TO PROVE WHY TGS SHOULD STAY A LIVE SHOW When their Kabletown bosses announce they will no longer pay for TGS to be a live show, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) realize their lives will actually be easier if they shoot canned episodes fast and cheap. Only Kenneth the page (McBrayer) objects, urging that nothing can replace the communal experience of live television. He tries to convince the TGS staff to fight for their right to be live by taking them and our audience through a magical look back at the illustrious history of Studio 6H.

Guest starring: Donald Glover as Tracy Jordan

Episode 19 of 22

Yes, this is indeed another Live episode like last season.

They will do an East/Central and a West Coast version.

East coast version was great, even though Tina flubbed a line. I really liked the flashback to the Amos and Andy knockoff, as well as the Laugh In knockoff.

Was it a really bad flub? We, in Arizona, don't get a live show. We get the east coast version on tape delay. Any surprise guests?

A very minor flub, and plenty of surprise guests that I won't spoil for you. Though it will be interesting to compare notes with the west coasters in a few hours to see if they got the same guests.

I caught the second half -- looked like they really pulled out all the stops for this one.

This was a lot of fun.

The 'Honeymooners' bit was hilarious.

My wife was crying when Jon Hamm entered.

This was great.

Pretty sure Alec screwed up a line on the East too but it was no big deal.

Last time they had some intentional changes between the East and West. Wonder if they will do the same for this one.

This and the Parks and Rec debate made my nite - hella fun!

Love the Brian Williams switch for us West coasters.

Great show. They took a lot more chances this time with all the flashbacks and costume changes. Dr. Spaceman is gold every time.

Wow, the east coast gets a Beatle, the west gets a Kardashian.

If that doesn't say it all...

Normally I dislike gimmick episodes, but that was a scream. The flashbacks were awesome.

Of course, Jimmy Fallon had to break up for no reason.

Fred Armisen dressed as a women call screener, Amy Poehler, John Hamm, Brian Williams, Will Forte, and Kim Kardashian were here on the West Coast show.

AJ Jenkins the newly drafted 49er WR got mentioned in the opening credits (song).

Nice.

Who was the young Tracy Jordan who hurt his coccyx? He got a big audience response.

I hate when Fallon does that. Just cheap laughs, and he & Horatio Sanz ruined many a SNL skit doing it. Pretty sure at this point he just does it because people are expecting him to do it.

Anyone notice Sue laughing during the east coast version? She was on the couch and it seemed like legitimate laughter.

Looked like Donald Glover took a hard pratfall too. Ouch.
