not just you. just put Born to Die and Video Games on a mix CD earlier yesterday. BtD was actually free on iTunes.

She has no voice, i really can't see (or hear in the case, because she's pretty) what's the big deal with her. She was really awful in my opinion.

Lana Del Ray is amazing but I'll agree that she was terrible here. It was clearly a case of a newcomer being nervous out of her mind. I think this was her first time performing on American TV.

At the end of her first song, she let out a genuine smile, but then remembered that she was supposed to be quirky and switched to a sad face.

I thought this episode was below average. A lot of the sketches were mildly enjoyable but nothing really stood out. The spin the bottle sketch was probably my favorite.

Maybe the worst episode I've ever seen. The Jay Parouh sketch made me laugh but the musical guest was amazingly bad.

If I hadn't heard the Lana Del Rey song played to death for the past month I would have thought this was a parody performance by Kristin Wiig. poor chick, she seemed petrified.

agreed, a very VERY bad episode.

I would feel sorry for Jay Pharaoh if he didn't seem so unqualified to be a cast member. His 'Jay Pharaoh' sketch seemed like one last attempt at remaining relevant with his lame impressions of black male actors, all of which we have already seen.

SNL has never seemed like it knows what to do with its black cast members. I wonder if they have any black writers...

Most of this was lame, though I was impressed by Daniel Radcliffe . He definitely has a stage presence about him.

As always, I kept imagining all I would do to Abby Elliot were she my GF.

Terrible. The only part I liked was the future sketch and I did laugh at the Dell bin at Walmart joke.

In a sea of bad sketches, the Jay Pharoah show was the absolute worst.

I thought the Barkley show from last week was horrible, so this one wasn't nearly as bad. I liked the Potter sketch and the voter questionnaire bit at the end of the show.

I think the last worst SNL I remember was when January Jones hosted. I'm not sure if any since then have been as wretched.

It wasn't a good episode but I don't think it was terrible. Liked the Harry Potter sketch and WU. No idea who the MG was nor do I care for it anyways.

My take on that sketch is that it was a knowing nod to how limited Pharaoh's usefulness is to the show. He's only really good for impressions of a few specific black actors, none of which are very topical.

Say what one will about Pharaoh, he's a hell of a lot more talented than Keenan Thompson--who just plays variations of...Keenan Thompson.

I grew up in the 90s watching All That and Kenan & Kel on Nickelodeon so I liked him back then.. but I'm really shocked he's been on SNL this long. Seems like his 15 minutes have been up for years.

Early on, I thought Pharaoh had a place in the cast, but that sort of evaporated over time. Unless he has a few more impersonations in his gig bag, that Jay Pharoah Show sketch might have summed up his limited, and by now, tired appeal.. Keenan Thompson remains a favorite of mine - he is versatile and professional and a genuinely likable guy. I think his "mainstream" appeal is the reason why he has lasted for so long.

Pharaoh's impressions are always great, but that sketch just seemed weird and unfunny.

This episode was one of the worst ones in awhile, for me. I thought the sketch at the end with Wiig playing a pollster had some funny parts and Radcliffe playing Casey Anthony's new dog was silly fun, but can't recall even smiling at any other parts.
