So they aired 4 episodes and now it is gone?
I thought it was being delayed for Into the Badlands but I don't see any upcoming shows on my DVR unless it returns in 2016?

It's kind of interesting to see the old comics and toys, but all of the scripted shit like the "prepper" storyline and the Wookie contest was unbearable.

Michael Zapcic and Ming Chen are going to be signing this weekend at the FoxProwl-Con in Batavia, NY (about an hour outside of Buffalo, NY).
Friday, they are going to part of a comic-book panel and on Saturday they headline their own panel.
Bryan Johnson was supposed to join them but had to cancel due to another professional commitment.
Ouch, just saw that the cons headliner - Actor Eric Roberts - had to cancel due to a family emergency. Hopefully everything turns out to be ok.

They probably shot more...Badlands is only six episodes, so it will be gone soon enough. My guess is they shot 12, and are saving the back 8 for the second half of The Walking Dead season. Of course, they may have shot a full 16 again and are going to double up when they return.

That would be a great question to ask them but....
Unfortunately I'm not a huge enough fan of the show or comics in general to travel more than the hour there and more than an hour back to get their autographs/see the panel. (I'm actually live farther away than the previous mentioned Buffalo, NY.) Only probably watch it because its comes after The Walking Dead/The Talking Dead. (If it was on during the week like it has been in the past - I probably wouldn't watch it.)

It returns this Sunday 2/14/2015 but you can get episode 6 "Stan Lives" now on Directv on demand.
This episode focused mainly on comics and hope it stays that way.

Shouldn't we be getting double episodes on some Sundays in the upcoming run? Since they didn't run this at all when Into The Badlands was on, they should have extra episodes to show assuming they still produced the normal amount. Or maybe they'll just hold the extra episodes for fall 2016. For the next two weeks they are only showing a single episode on Sundays.

I prefer one episode a week since my dvr is full.

Even with an episode that was "mainly focused on comics", the fakery of the longtime customer suddenly quitting comics just to have Stan Lee talk him back into it was embarrassing to watch. Especially since it's kind of a rehash of a Mallrats plotline.

Yeah. Overall not a bad episode aside from that though. It was cool that they got Stan Lee to appear in the entire episode.

Not sure what Stan was trying to say about Dr Doom not being a criminal.
Of course it's not a crime to want to take over the world, but Doom has undertaken criminal actions in pursuit of that goal. Which does make him a criminal. In his first appearance he kidnapped Sue Storm.
Of course Stan is 93, and he's probably run out of clever insights about the characters he created five decades ago.

My favorite time travel movie is SOMEWHERE IN TIME, which might be a tad more obscure.

I thought that was the movie they were talking about. I was watching, they're mentioning Time After Time, and I'm saying to myself "that's the romantic one with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, right?"

I think a poster on this forum has Reeve from Somewhere in Time as his avatar.
I added Time After Time to my Netflix que though it not available in Blu-ray and I am a HD snob.
Maybe if airs on the premium networks without ads I will tape it.

I'm guessing he means getting the DVD mailed to him from Netflix, not their streaming service.

I don't know how old you are but in 1980 a lot of people saw this movie just because it had Superman and that chick from the James Bond movie. I remember girls in HS wanting to see it and telling the guys it's a science fiction movie so we would come along. Time after Time a year earlier was really obscure. No one remembered it until it started doing the rounds on HBO.
