Robyn's latest album was on EVERY relevant top 10 list for 2010. Billboard named her best act of Bonnaroo 2011. Currently nominated for 2 Grammys. She is the real deal. I'm amazed I still meet people who aren't aware of her existence. She deserves all the success in the world.

I saw her live 4 times in the past year and it's an amazing thing to witness.

Robyn opened for Katy on her last North American tour, so I'm assuming Katy had a hand in her getting the musical guest slot tonight.

she had some really minor radio play with "Dancing on My Own," which I would consider one of the best pop songs to ever be released.

other than that, pretty much no radio play or video play in the states.

Until recently, I had no idea she was the same Robyn from the '90s. If anyone listened to pop radio back then, they are bound to have heard her stuff. In fact, Robyn Is Here was one of the first albums I remember purchasing for myself. "Do You Know (What It Takes)" was my jam when I was 11.
