I loved the look on Taco's face when he couldn't promise Jenny he wouldn't tell everyone about Kevin's public hair.

When Rafi popped up from behind the au pair I lost it.

Kevin setting his crotch on fire "My inventory is ruined!"

Funniest episode of this show ever. And that's saying something.

After 2 B+'s to start the season, we've now rocked 2 A++'s in a row.

Anybody notice that football wasn't even brought up once this episode? I think it really says something about how great this show is that the entire concept of the show originally revolved around fantasy football and now they just aired one of funniest episodes of the series and the original concept of the show wasn't even mentioned once.

I play fantasy football and enjoy the references (the Mathews/Tolbert stuff from last week was hilarious) but I wouldn't be upset at all if fantasy football was never mentioned again. The characters are so funny and likable that they don't need to rely on the fantasy football angle to keep the show going.

Once again, far too many highlights to pick just one.

Re: The League -- Season 3 -- Thurs. @ 10:30 on FX

Just re-watched both It's Always Sunny and The League and both were just as funny the second time around.

Rafi: "Hey Tall Guy." (I love how he never remembers Pete's name)
Rafi: "I bet when I got here and climbed on top he came and got really embarrassed, so he left."
Rafi: "Thank you, by the way, for not making me wear a condom. That was pretty fucking classy." (line of the night?)

Taco: "And as my lawyer..."
Ruxin: "I'm not your lawyer."
Taco: "And as my attorney..."

Awesome casting news for Andre's Sister and Ruxin's Father:

Spoiler:

Guess who’s coming for Thanksgiving dinner? Sarah Silverman and Jeff Goldblum have booked seats at the table for FX’s The League.

They’ll join a Thanksgiving episode of the comedy series, with Silverman playing Andre’s (Paul Scheer) sister and Jeff Goldblum as Ruxin’s (Nick Kroll) father. “Sarah and Jeff are funny and fearless enough to play Andre’s sister and Ruxin’s father,” said League co-creators Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer. “And they didn’t flinch when we told them all of the crazy things they’d be doing with our cast. Fools!”

Silverman was seen earlier this year in a guest star role on CBS’ The Good Wife. Since wrapping up Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Goldblum has been on Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV.

What a fucking episode. Could be my favorite of the whole series so far. Rafi really seems to bring out the best in everyone else in the cast. I almost pissed myself at Kevin's pubes being on fire, and Pete changing his tune about loving the Bay Area during the Golden Gate bridge thing and saying he was going to drop Vernon Davis over it had me laughing out loud, too.

They talked about Carson Palmer retiring... which is funny because his "retirement" lasted all of... a week? Two weeks? Pete also mentioned dropping Vernon Davis from his fantasy team when he ran out of the room from the au pair and Rafi.

Kevin: "This is like a thousand Christmases rubbing up against my balls."

I'm off to drink a glass of brown wine and watch The Hunt for Light Brown October!

It came up. For one Pete after bailing on the Golden Gate said hated San Francisco and was dropping Vernon Davis.

I never realized Rafi was Sophia's brother.

The dye Kevin was using was called "Brown Betty".

Ok they mentioned Palmer and Vernon Davis so they talked about football for like 5 seconds.

That, and they were all gathered for football when Kevin set his dick on fire. Someone yelled out "I love football at Kevin's"

I'm a recent convert to the series, having only seen Season 3 episodes. But jeez, what a funny show. It really pulls no punches. I'll have to catch up on the first two seasons when I have a chance.

My main point was that fantasy football and football in general was completely secondary in this episode and it still worked very well. Some shows really fall apart when certain episodes go away from what the series is really about. The writing is good enough and the characters are interesting enough that they wouldn't even have to be in a fantasy football league and the show would still work great.

In any event, definitely go back and watch the previous seasons. The first season is only 6 episodes I think. Tons of great stuff in the first 2 seasons with really only a few misfires.

I think they could take away the fantasy football element of this show now and it would still be great. The characters are fantastic.
