I didn't watch this show for a while because I thought it was going to be primarily about fantasy football which I hate... And the reason I avoid the regular NFL thread here.(there is a dedicated FF thread there and I still have to look through that crap when I'd rather read about the games, not people bitching over this or that player)

That said, I got into it over the summer and
Surprised ratings are down, I think it will be canned if it does it next year...

I really didn't care for the stuff about Andre getting breasts. And having Ruxin's kid latch onto him was way over the top. Other than that, I really liked the episode.

Pete's Boss: "It is clear to us that you have been working on Fantasy Football and some out there porn."
Pete's Boss: " Foot and balls...could go either way."

Pete really is a dick, but I love how everything just sort of goes his way.

Sofia was great this episode. I loved her losing it on everyone. I don't understand why Ruxin didn't just tell Sofia he was using a fictional dead wife to get Fantasy Football tips?

Taco's running obituaries were great.

Kevin was on fire this episode. I loved him calling in and not being able to make any decisions himself. Having his daughter call in at the end was hilarious. Loved the final line: "...please don't call child services."

Next week is the Playoffs.

The entire episode was hilarious - the rips on Andre were coming in fast and furious, very funny and clever put-downs.

Loved it. This show is at its best when it's just the guys sitting around shooting the shit and trash talking to each other...and Taco is writing their obituaries.

They have no idea how to write Sophia. Although she's insanely hot, her personality switches about 3 times per episode she's in. Hell, even her nationality seems to jump back and forth.

She's smart, she's dumb, she all about family, she's neglectful, she's stuck up, she's insecure, she's mexican, she's a valley girl, etc etc.

I'm guessing because they already established that she doesn't like how much time he spends on Fantasy Football and how earlier in the season he got caught making a trade while he was supposed to be having a "special ladies weekend" with her (when was tied to the bed). Either way I agree that particular plot point didn't do much for me or the whole breastfeeding thing but still a very funny episode.

I'm sure most of you have already seen this but I stumbled upon this the other day. Really funny especially at the end.

I missed the last part of the show because of my stupid DVR. I've missed the last couple of minutes of all the shows I watch this week. I can't add time because I have too many shows I'm recording. I guess I need to find out when they re-air and DVR them on those days.

Thought it was a weak episode. It was kind of stupid how far they took Andre's transformation, Taco's obits never really paid off, and Ruxin having to fake a dead wife seemed a bit too contrived. Pete and Kevin's stories weren't bad, but not that memorable either. Just not a very inspired episode, felt a little phoned in.

Still, it wasn't terrible, an enjoyable half hour by average TV show standards.

Turns out FX is airing episodes 12 AND 13 tonight, back-to-back. So tonight will be the last episodes of the season. The "10:30" episode usually starts a few minutes after 10:30, which means the second episode won't start exactly at 11:00 either. Make sure to set your DVRs accordingly, otherwise you'll miss the season finale.

Still no word on whether the show is going to be renewed for a third season, so tonight's episode could actually be the series finale if there's no renewal. Hopefully it gets renewed though since it has been consistently funnier than It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, which seems to have hit a rut this season.

Just an interesting tidbit, for anyone that didn't know, Pete (Mark Duplass) is actually married to Jenny (Katie Aselton) in real life.

I loved Kevin's reaction to Jenny calling Andre a cocktard.

Ruxin owned this episode, from top to bottom.

Him sending Ellie up to the attic to get the presents, promising her all this absurd stuff. I loved the comment about how she was even dumber than her parents.

Ruxin: "I can't go to a homeless shelter, they don't have DirectTV, duh!"

Kevin's breakdown at the end was absolutely hysterical. Him telling Ellie there no Elf, no Santa, no Tooth Fair, no Easter Bunny, and no God all in a tirade of obscenities was just so awful, but so very funny.

Ruxin: "I gotta say, it feels like I won twice." (line of the night)

Although I did love the teacher there at the end showing Kevin and Jenny the video of Jenny trash-talking Pete.
