Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Dirty Little Secret" -- 6/12/12

Really good episode. Nice to see the 2 ladies work together and then make up at the end. Overall, there was some really good scenes between Maura and Jane in this episode.

at the scene where Jane said..."Did you pass gas?" to Maura

I actually got a little squeamish when Jane had to cut Maura's leg to get the blood flowing.

at the scene where Tommy and Frost vomited after seeing the dead guy in the face.

at everytime they mentioned the word..."Fracking" I kept having Battlestar Galactica flashbacks.

I hope we don't have to see Jane's Dad again soon. He's become a major douchebag.

Glad the feud is over; thought everyone but Jane's dad was good in the episode and had at least a moment. Hope they keep rolling and get back to the traditional format of the show.

Non-sexual lesbians? Isn't that most BFFs?

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "This Is How the Heart Breaks" -- 6/19/12

at the rising penis

Maura: "Oh my God, his Penis has a Pulse!"

Fun case and episode overall. It was good to see Jane and Maura back to being BFF's.

I liked how Maura got aroused by being a bad girl, especially with the tagging.

The only thing that annoyed me was Jane's friend being a douchebag and then the big reveal of his leg injuries. I laughed at the guy in the wheel chari who called him an idiot.

I could have lived without the "his penis has a pulse" line but it was pretty funny. I had completely forgotten about Jane's military friend until he turned up in this episode. The whole I fell in love with you thing felt kinda hollow after the big deal the writers made about Jane's relationship with the FBI guy (I don't remember any of their names).

Yeah I agree with you there. Jane professing that she was falling in love with Casey felt really unnatural and forced. I got the impression that he along Agent Dean had more of a friends with benefits relationship.

I so can't stand Angela, but still enjoy this show. Are Angela and the chief going to hook up soon?

Everyone talks about Maura (I don't even know the actress' name), but Angie Harmon really does it for me. I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm fine with that. I've dug her ever since her L&O days.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Welcome to the Dollhouse" -- 6/26/12

I have no problem with Lorraine Bracco as an actress, but I really hate Angela Rizzoli. Everytime she appears on screen in this show, things come to a screeching halt. Way too much Angela in this episode.

Other than that, it was an okay episode. The whole thing with Jane and Casey feels kind of clumsy how it's written. I'd rather that she not be so hung up on him.

The case of the week was interesting. I liked that the Cop was partially responsible for leading his son to commit the murders because of what he did to the Mom.

Maura did have some funny lines.

Maura: "One study found that when sniffing Pumpkin Pie and Lavender men become sexually aroused"

Jane: "Maura!"

Not that anyone should be surprised, but if you missed the news last week, Rizzoli and Isles was renewed.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Throwing Down the Gauntlet" -- 7/03/12

Terrible episode. I see why noone wanted to talk about it.

Jane's Mom was once again annoying. They just had to bring back that stupid guido who has the hots for Jane.

Plus, WTF was the point of bringing in that Nun? Annoying character. Case of the week was pretty blah.

I did enjoy seeing Sharon Lawrence as Maura's biological Mom. They definitely could pass as being related.

Last week was a terrible episode mainly because of Jane's Mom and the case of the week wasn't that interesting. Hope this will be better.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Money Maker" -- 7/10/12

So many things from this season are just tedious. First it was the feud, now Maura's mother and the nun.

As much as I always hate Lorraine Bracco's Angela, but she didn't seem very annoying. I got the hint from a week or two ago that she and Lt. Cavanaugh were hitting it off. And, she looked really nice cleaned up too.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Money Maker" -- 7/10/12

Better than last week's episode, but alot of stuff was still really annoying.

Angela's screentime was fortunately kept to a minimum. However, the scenes with Maura and her Mom and the bratty half-sister were really annoying. I hope that isn't a plot that will get dragged out for the season.

Case of the week was kind of interesting. Nice to see Monet Mazur as kind of a slutty character.

Oh and I am astonished that the few who commented here neglected to mention that.

Captain Awesome guest starred in this episode!!

Frost and Frankie dancing was hilarious. The nun has to go, she's served absolutely no purpose so far.

The half-sister was annoying. You mean to tell me that your mommy issues are so severe that you're willing to DIE rather than accept a kidney from someone. Get some therapy.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Crazy for You" -- 7/17/12

About 70% of this episode was borderline unwatchable.

Every scene with Ed Begley Jr, the Cowboy and the Russian coroner was cringe-worthy. And to top it off, they bring in the chick who was Jane's Dad's ex-fiancee and may be the mother of the Dad or Brother's kid.

The creepy guy stalking Jane sort of made it more interesting at the end. But, overall this was a misfire.

Re: Rizzoli & Isles -- "Crazy for You" -- 7/17/12

The case was interesting and I swear all of Dom DeLuise's sons look exactly like him. Everything else was a mess.

For some reason the fact that the writers keep putting Rizzoli in mortal and sexual danger is bothering me. I don't think this happens as often in male police procedurals and I don't recall it happening that often on female-led procedurals (I can only think of one time in the history of The Closer where it happened). I could just be imagining things.
