High expectations for this one, looks hilarious.

And yeah, Judy Greer was just on BBT. They should have just had Judy Greer night.

Movie parts disappointed me. Did like Barney in the theater though. "Who the kiss are you?"

Re: How I Met Your Mother -- "The Wedding Bride" -- 05/17/10

Thought it was a pretty okay episode...agree with the previous poster that the Barney stuff was good (but he was hardly in the episode) and I liked Marshall's comments about the movie spoilers. Gotta say never thought Chris "Corky Romano" Kattan would ever be in a movie that became one of the top five highest grossing films of all time.

Loved the use of the Love, Actually music. I haven't seen the flick in a while and think I might have to put it in later this week.

Barney was amusing and I liked how being a Cub fan was someone's baggage.

Decent, not great... but that seems to be par for the course this season. I think it's time to wrap this one up.

I liked all of Marshall's stuff about being the nice guy and consequently helping the robbers and giving them gas money.

Was that Kitty from Arrested Development? Hard to tell without the crazy eyes.

Yes! I knew she looked familiar!

Overall, another not so good episode. Barney gave a few laughs in the theaters. The end was surprisingly funny.

I counted two women with "Slept with Barney" as their baggage. One was even fat.

Did the show lose its original writers? This season has been abysmal.

Re: How I Met Your Mother -- "The Wedding Bride" -- 05/17/10

Yeah, this was truly a terrible episode. Its only redeeming grace was the hope that they were setting up Judy Greer (the lady can do no wrong in my eyes) to be the mom, but nope.

What were some of the baggages being carried at the end? I didn't catch them all.

Just realized that was Malin Akerman from Watchmen as movie Stella.

The episode wasn't that great although I did get a little laugh from the movie.

As someone stated earlier, I don't think I'd really be too disappointed if this show decided to find Ted's mate and called it quits next season. (Actually, I know it's against the show's premise, but if they got rid of Ted, it might not be so bad.)

That doesn't even make a little bit of sense.

Re: How I Met Your Mother -- "The Wedding Bride" -- 05/17/10

My friend and I just discussed this. After rewatching last week's episode, we think Barney has already found his doppelganger and has been inserting him into the gang to make really horrible comments to try and incite Marshall to use the last slap. Go back and watch last week's episode. At the beginning when Barney is talking about porn, he has this really forced laugh, and says to the group, "Why do you hang out with me again?" That's his doppelganger. I'd be willing to bet on it.
