As far as we know, the studio is empty, everyone has gone home...and Lee and Casey are still standing there...waiting for their results.

Did anyone else notice that woman in the crown who looked like she was bleeding from the forehead last night at the beginning of the show? What was up with that, and why did they keep showing her?

Ryan explained it about 5 minutes in. Friends of Siobhan Magnus dressed like zombies for some reason or other...."Siobhombies".

And did you all realize that Mike has a new baby?

When they showed him carrying it in the pouch, it would've been cooler if it was the baby-smothering sling.

I personally never liked Kara either. She doesn't add anything to the judges table and just slows things down. Ellen is a great "chearleader" judge, better than Paula in my opinion though I miss wondering whether or not Paula was drugged on a given night.

I fell asleep on the couch before the results show started and was woken up by Paige when she screamed her song at the end of the show. I wish I would have slept thru that also.....................

Poor Paige, that was the worst singing I have ever heard on A.I., and I have been watching since the end of Season 1.

Good luck to her, but singing is not her thing.

How funny is all that, I fell asleep around 8:30 last night, so I did not see that part.

I'm at the point where I can't watch anymore. She so long winded but never really says anything. She needs to go.

My Idol sessions are about 30 mins. long.

FFW through opening BS
FFW through Ryan BS
FFW through judge's intro BS
FFW through contestant opening package/sob story/dead relative/etc. BS
Watch performance
FFW through Randy's BS
FFW through whatever it is that Ellen in trying to say BS
FFW through Kara's delusions of grandeur BS
Watch Simon's Comments
FFW to next contestant

That's about the only way I can stomach AI anymore.

That's pretty much exactly what my wife does but she's gotten to the point where she'll only watch the first half or so of a performance and then listen to Simon's comments.

I don't know--there's been some hellacious performances on Idol over the years. And Paige's take on "Smile" was just as bad, but the judges praised her as having one of the best voices in this year's competition. Talk about wishy-washy.

Paige had served her purpose. They needed to have an African American female singer into the Top 12 for appearances' sake. Once that happened, Paige was singing on borrowed time.

Gotta say that Miley came off pretty well here. She was friendly and sometimes insightful. I still question her being a mentor in the first place, but she was decent in the role.

But word to Miley's fellow Disney princess, Demi Lovato: those self-absorbed flailing hand gestures don't distract from your vocal shortcomings. Now there's someone who can't sing AT ALL.

This is what I do anymore. I can finish an episode in around 20-25 minutes.

Thanks, I left the house to grab a bite to eat right after the intro, so I missed that.

For anyone who thinks Miley Cyrus can sing, all they had to do was watch that performance and realize that she can't.

1 full hour of who gets the boot is just way too much. I can put up with the performances more. But this season is terrible. Next year, I will just skip the audition and Hollywood phase entirely.
