SNL 02/27/10 - H: Jennifer Lopez - MG: Jennifer Lopez
J-Lo is not having a good month. I think that her hosting/muscial guest duties are a little premature for what she wanted:
Superstar Jennifer Lopez has had a double blow - with her movie being put back at the same time as she was dropped from her record label.
Lopez was dropped by Sony Music from its Epic label, further delaying her latest album LOVE? which was due in stores in April.
And at the same time, the star has been told her latest romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan has been pushed back by another month.
The timing is also embarrassing as J-Lo is due to guest-host one of America's most high-profile shows, Saturday Night Live, on March 6 - and now she has nothing to promote.
Lopez is currently trying to negotiate with other record labels. Her manager Benny Medina insists the 'time was right' for change, suggesting the move was as much on her end as Sony's.
'Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction her career as an actress and recording artist,' Medina insisted in a statement.
'She is grateful and appreciative to everyone at Sony for all that they accomplished together.'

Guys, give her a shot. She was pretty funny on the George Lopez show and has to be better than most of the hosts they've had on SNL lately.

yuck, cant stand her. She comes across as so stuck up and entitled. Just like she says she should of been nominated for an Oscar that she gave an Oscar winning performance.

The only memorable sketch was the Spanish Soap Opera with Fred Armison.
The quality of guests improve with Zach Galifianakis and Jude Law & Pearl Jam in 2 weeks.
Still they had to schedule a shitty band Vampire Weekend to fill up one slot.

Pretty bad episode, and I'm an SNL supporter. Flags! was funny (except for the subtitle goof from the next sketch) and I always get a chuckle from Pete Twinkle and Greg Stink.
