When I saw that it was going to be James vs Randy in the challenge, I said that James could just hit Randy once and send him flying off of the platform into the mud. And then he did it.
I sort of like Coach. He's sort of like a real-life Kramer.

Well, for me, coming off an entire season that was 50% Russell, 25% Shannon/"Shambo"/whatever, and 25% everyone else, I'm just all Russelled out. There are only so many ways he can tell us how awesome he thinks he is. Tonight, we did see the advantage he has in no one ever seeing him play before.
As for "Coach" (even though he isn't a Coach anymore), I find him incredibly tedious.
But to each there own...

Russell didn't seem to get the reaction (this time, at least) that he was hoping for. That group is so dysfunctional no one really even gets mad if important things start to disappear.
For an "all-star" season, it's interesting that both tribes basically did the same thing and voted off loners and "weak" players, while leaving in very strong players who only get stronger each time they're let off the hook.
Cirie, anyone?
They should just leave Amanda on an island permanently. She looks amazing out there, but never that good when she's all cleaned up.

It would have been the same no matter who went against James. I think he may murder someone before the end of the season.

Red Dog, I was referring to who voted for Rob not the elimination. I hate when the whole show is about Russell talking about Rob and then everyone voting against Randy.
I was hoping that a unexpected vote for Rob was part of his plan against Rob (similar to talking about stealing his hat) That's the drama I want to see more of.

Yeah, Cirie is doing pretty good sneaking into alliances, as usual.
Once again, the Heroes dominate a physical challenge. Even in the two challenges the villains won, the heroes dominated the physical part of those challenges by almost a full leg before they fell apart at the mental side of the challenge.
At this point, the producers could almost control the game: Want Heroes to win? Make it purely physical. Want Villains to win? Have a hard mental element...

It wasn't just physical, but it was basically 8 individual challenges. It played right into their hands since they didn't have to rely on teamwork.

James is such a douche. I wasn't a fan of Pavarti the last two times she was on, but she's growing on me this season. While I enjoyed and rooted for Russ last season, I hope they tone down the camera time on him, it's getting annoying. And god, Amanda is so fucking hot.

Randy came out there all pumped up (probably screaming in his head), showing off like the guy in Raiders with the sword then James just pulls out his gun and shoots him like Indy. Goes down like a bowling pin. We didn't need the redneck comment, Jimmy.

I don't understand why the tribes don't vote out long term strategic threats/schemers who don't add a lot to camp and don't really add much in challenges. I would think folks like Parvati (or Cirie in the other tribe) would be on the chopping block early - sure Randy was dead wood, but that dead wood can be cut anytime. (and does Paravti really bring anything more to the tribe than Randy?)

Randy didn't have any friends on the Villains tribe so there wasn't any worries about ruffling any feathers by voting him off. It's the loners that you have to worry about since they tend to be wild cards come voting time.

Hero domination with no puzzle. Every single round they had the matchup, and they could release their frustration.
at Courtney sitting out since she's 16 pounds.
Parvati has a "nice smile"? That's her worst feature.
Couldn't even tell which was which except for Amanda's green panties.

I was SOOO Pumped watching that challenge. I loved it when they first ran it in Palau. Tom was so bad ass against Billy John, or whatever his name was.
And did anyone give props to Colby? He lost to Boston Rob in the All-Stars season in the wrestling match challenge over the water. Go Colby!

But yeah, I think as far as people who had the most chances:
Jerri and Russell went down pretty quickly, quicker than I expected.
Tyson had a bit of a chance.
Danielle put up a pretty good fight.
Boston Rob probably had the most chance, but oh well.
This picture gets me pumped up

I agree. As the episode ended, I thought to myself that it seemed like too much time was being devoted to dialogue (and as many have noted, much of it is repetitive from a few folks).
Enjoyed Randy tossing his tribe headband in the fire in a moment of disgust. I haven't seen all the seasons to know if that was an original move, but I liked it.
