I wouldn't say he looked wimpy at all. He just got out smarted. Coach made Colby carry his weight for like 50 or 60 yards then turned it on just as they got to the mats. Colby probably didn't have much energy left by then.

Plus, if you read Dalton's blog it was 4-0 Heroes by then. They had already won the challenge. They ran the last two races so everyone competed, and it seemed more dramatic with creative editing.

If memory serves me correctly, 5 people on this season have done back to back seasons:
Rupert - Pearl Islands and All-Stars
Stephanie - Palua and Guatamala
Amanda & James - China and Fans vs. Favorites
Russell - Samoa & Heroes vs. Villains

I think they are the only ones to ever do back-to-back seasons too.
Bobby Jon did the back-to-back thing too.

Actually, that's not what he said. They were playing to 5, so no one had won the challenge yet. It was 4-0 before the round in which Coach beat Colby. His win kept the Villains chances alive. Had Colby beat him that round, the game would have ended.

Nope, they found a way to give him a million. They even had a special entire extra reunion show just to give him the million. The "jury prize" has decreased in value since the first million.

Why Sugar, Tom's idea to get rid of Cirie was brilliant, why couldn't it happen? I think Russell playing the same game as last time will be his downfall, by trying to align with Parvati and that other chick on his tribe. If Amanda, Cirie, and Parvati make it to the merge, its going to be the fans vs. favorites all over again. Especially with Amanda making that comment last night that about her and Cirie "Being out here for blood".

It really was a smart plan. I wonder if they just didn't have enough votes they could trust. It's not like with Sugar leaving they are going to find more. Sugar wanted to get rid of Amanda, and I assume she could have been flipped to Cirie.

I agree that Russell taking that overly aggressive gameplay to Parvati will probably be his downfall. I guess it remains to be seen if Parvati will still be with Cirie and Amanda. She already beaten them once so I'm not sure if they would want to go that way again. Also, if she can survive to a merge, Courtney is still close with Amanda (and she's dating JT's best friend!). If they all make a merge (a big if!) with James that's a pretty solid looking six.

I wonder if the same thing that plagued Amanda going back-to-back (and not knowing how she came off the jury in the first final tribal council, and fell back to doing the same in the 2nd final tribal council the following fans/fave season) will happen to Russell as well. Though I really hope Russell doesn't get to the merge this season, he was so tiresome to listen to last season, and it's not getting any better this season.

I'm sure they're more envious of the Amazing Race appearances, free nationally televised wedding, and Against the Odds than they are of the shared half-million with Amber.

Well that too, but that wouldn't have happened w/o Amber winning.

I would be hard for Russell to find a jury that disliked him more than the Samoa one. I can't imagine an "All-Star" jury not voting for Russell because of personal reasons.

I know the counter arguement is that Rob lost that way with an All-Star jury, but Rob is different than Russell in that he used and betrayed external friendships to further himself (and Lex is a douche!). Russell wouldn't have that problem because none of these people know him outside the game.

That having been said if Russell makes it that far in the game I probably won't.

A keying error obviously.

Amanda and Candice...sure.

Maybe even Rupert...but not Russell.

Re: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Season Premiere, 2/11/10

Great episode.. Probably the best season opener ever..

With these being all repeat players, some three peat, and very good players at that.. It's frustrating to see them still make DUMB decisions.. As others have said and as Tom pointed out.. Why not get Cirie now? She is VERY dangerous.. Sugar will go with anyone and is ZERO threat to win..

It's frustrating to see people still vote off because someone is annoying.. I guess that's why the came is so awesome..
