None of the freestyle were great content-wise, but Donny's was entertaining!

I was pulling for Mya but I think she's blown it. The film package before her Free-Style made her seem like a prima donna. I was hoping Dimitry would knock it out of the park, but his routine was pretty much the same old thing and it lacked The "Wow!" Factor. I kind of figured Kym could pull off a great "Show Dance" (and this is where I really missed Derek and Joanna), and I think she and Donny delivered the goods, much like Shawn Johnson did last season when Cheryl dropped the ball with Gilles.

I agree. Mya really blew the freestyle. I think Donny has a real chance of winning this now.

Mya & Dimitri blew the freestyle. It was Dimitri's idea though. Donny's was the best but still lacked the wow factor of past freestyles.

You can say Donny should win the trophy because of his freestyle but Mya has been the consistent one and I think the voters will take that into account. Anyway, I think they will be scored once again by the judges for the trophy.

Keep in mind last year, -Gilles was most skilled and consistent dancer all season, but his free-style was a huge disappointment. Meanwhile, Shawn was hit-and-miss most of the season, usually taking third to Melissa Rycroft. However, Melissa's free-style was also kind of a snore while Shawn and Mark's routine was pretty dynamic. The judges gave enough points to Gilles to give him the number one slot (and the way the judging works, it only matters that you have more points than the next person, not the number of points that you have.

Shawn, of course, won, and its generally thought that the Free-Style won it for her (in fact they were alluding to that several times last night).

And just like The Apprentice Finale, we sit through hours of filler and they can't allot more than 1 minute of airtime showing the winner celebrating? I really hate that.

No different from Emmitt Smith or Shawn Johnson winning it. They were not the better dancers in the final either.

I can't stand Donny Osmond, but I'm thrilled for Kym Johnson who usually gets stuck with duds. I'm also thrilled to see someone besides a Hough or Ballas win.

I'm also happy that Donny won. Mya may have been more technically proficient, but that is only half of what makes a great dancer. Donny's performances were more entertaining to watch.

I'm also glad that Kym finally got to hold the trophy. It always seems that she gets stuck with second-tier talent, and I can't help but wonder if the producers didn't assume that Donny would turn out that way as well.
