Maybe the Colt only works on demons, not angels. If that's the case, they should have at least tried to trap him in one of the circle of fire dealies...

Mark Pellegrino will show up one night as Lucifer and the next as Jacob. I'm wanting to watch this but at the same time holding out for the BD release. Isn't this supposed to be the last season of the show as it is?

Maybe they need to use it in combination with another weapon like Castiel's super angel-killer lance.

Fucking awesome episode - I had no idea that Jo and Ellen were going to bite it, so I was caught off guard with that (I'm not a spoiler whore but usually if characters are getting killed off a show I've heard some rumblings about it).... things are getting seriously intense on this show.

When Castiel broke out I thought he was going to come up behind Lucifer and "try" to use that angel shank he has possession of. Alas the writers didn't think of it.

I doubt it would work on Lucifer. As for the 5 things the gun couldn't kill, I'm guessing Death is also one of them, or else you would think you cap him as soon as he pops out of that hole. I would guess God is another one of the 5. That leaves 2. Michael would probably be another since Lucifer is and Michael beat him once. That leaves 1.

The minute Dean started hitting on Jo, I knew she was a goner. Disappointing cliché in an otherwise awesome episode.
Loved the hellhound attack in the street.

So many standout moments in this episode...Castiel taking shots, the photograph, the Hell Hounds...really outstanding. I'm especially enjoying Mark Pellegrino's performance (it makes up for all of the stupid faces Jared Padalecki makes these days). I've been trying to get more of my friends into this show, but I feel like someone who's only watched episodes like "Route 666" and "Hook Man" just can't have any concept of the direction the story's taken.

I knew someone was gonna in this episode and as soon as I saw Jo show up I figured it would be her.
As far as what could kill Lucifer, I think the only thing is Michael's sword which I'm sure dad Winchester has stored someplace.

Unfortunately, I have a sinking feeling that this show is going to end with sort of a reboot in the timeline, where Sam & Dean, the mom, the dad, and all of their friends will be alive and well, sort of as God's "thank you" to the Winchester boys.
