We really need a courtroom scene where the judge is reading Matt's testimony. He's in prison for robbing banks dressed as a mime, this is on the heels of him banging his half-sister and blowing himself up in a motel room while smoking crystal meth.

In the plane crash episode. Yeah I thought so too. As far as I remember she not only died but was also cremated.

EDIT: Hmm I also seem to remember her being alive at the very end of that episode....I'm confused

Julia thought her mother had died, and even had some alone time with the burned out remains. Turns out she wasn't dead, and the body starts gasping for breath. Julia put a pillow over her head and finished her off.

A bit later she finds out that wasn't her mother, who never got on the flight. One of the most ridiculous episodes of the series.

That is the problem with Nip/Tuck - it is like a soap opera with so many ridiculous plots, I have a hard time keeping the backstory straight sometimes.
