Pretty good episode.
I thought they did a good job writing Cameron out.

I agree. It was a pretty strong episode all the way around. We got some harsh doses of realize about pretty much every central character on the show. House's relationship with each of them was pretty bluntly exposed. Though the facts have been there the entire series, I still was a little knocked over by Cameron's confronting House at the end. Did not expect THAT!

I saw her name in the credits and I recognized her right away, but the hair and different accent threw me off every once in a while.

Saw her name in the credits but didn't even recognize her until you just reminded me she was in it.

Uhhhh! I find 13 so boring. I thought she was dying and her motor skills were rapidly deteriorating? oh.. I guess that was before she started doing sit ups - she'll be ok now

T'Pol was very under utilized especially given her career in this show.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
I actually missed the House boat (no pun intended) originally and first saw it in reruns because I noticed Jennifer Morrison. I thought she was hot, I admit it. So I watched (and then caught up on what I missed) and House and Cameron were easily my favorite characters. I hated when she got pushed to the side and was excited when I heard she'd play a bigger role this season. I still wish I knew if they were lying about that or if something happened.
I thought the episode was very good. I've never quite understood all the hate on 13. I like her character. She's no Cameron, but I've never disliked her. |

A strong episode, but I am bummed about Cameron leaving. She has always been my favorite of the sub characters and I think her and HOUSE had an interesting dynamic. I missed seeing her last season and was glad she was back this season. I wish they would have gotten rid of one of the other characters instead.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
I think 13 was just overexposed. They seemed to focus on her a lot more than the other sub characters and then damn near killed her entirely by putting her in a "relationship" with Foreman. If the writers can manage to not put her front and center as often and keep the 13-Foreman drama out of it, the character might become acceptable again.

I saw her name in the credits, and still had no idea it was her. Watched this episode last night, and just now realized that I totally missed her and will have to go back and check her out.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
I recognized Blalock, but in a "wait a minute, is that her?" kind of way. I was surprised she had such a small role. Her career has been kind of shit since Enterprise, but I would think she would get more than a line or two.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
I like 13, but agree that the Foreman relationship didn't work well.
At least the way Cameron left leaves it open for her to return again some time down the line. I really liked her speech to, and telling House how she loved him.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
Wow, I seem to be in the minority but I thought this was a very weak episode. I think the machinations to get to the goal of writing Cameron out of the show were terribly far-fetched. For one, it was completely against her character for her to leave her husband. And she's more emotionally-based so for her to intellectualize why she's doing it made no sense at all for her character as established. Also Taub quitting that sweet gig to return made no sense whatsoever too.
Just a weak episode all around (IMO).

Is it just me, or does the relationship with Cutty and the Private-I seem waaay too out of character for Cutty?
I hope they cut that short. I don't like his character at all... |

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
I agree it was out of character for Cameron to leave. First of all, she knows it was a tough a decision Chase made. If I recall correctly she came pretty close to making that choice herself in the episode. So for her to be so morally repulsed by his actions seems unlikely. Secondly, they've consistently portrayed her as compassionate, an enabler to some extent, being attracted to damaged people, wanting to fix them, etc. It seems out of character for her to just walk away from Chase, even if she sees him as morally broken.
That said, it's something I don't agree with, but can over look and that issue aside I think it was a good episode and not a bad way to write her out.

Re: House -- "Teamwork" -- 11/16/09
Personally, I thought it fit Cameron's character. She's always been about morals, and they pretty much established that she forgave Chase because he felt guilty about his actions. Only when finding out that he wasn't guilty and would easily do it again did she realize that Chase wasn't who she thought he was, and that he was more like House. It would make sense to me that this type of thing wouldn't be forgivable.
