Desperate Housewives -- "Don't Walk On The Grass" -- 11/01/09

Desperate Housewives

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Bree drifts further away from Orson as she begins to fall for Karl; Katherine keeps trying to get Mike back as her conflict with Susan intensifies; Gaby gets Juanita expelled from school; Lynette learns that Tom is cheating on his midterm; and Angie covers for her mother.

The Susan-Mike-Katherine love triangle if you can call it that already gets a huge

For such a good and intelligent actress as Dana Delany is, I'm amazed how she can tolerate the stupidity of these scripts surrounding her character.

Did I miss something....what happened in the aftermath of Susan shooting the gun? Not that I care all that much.

Why didn't Gabby and Carlos just throw her in public school for the rest of the year?

Tom is the biggest loser ever. Lynette should have gotten her tubes tied after the first twins knowing what a loser he is.

I've been catching up with all of the episodes (been busy with the horror challenge), and I completely agree. I remember expressing my concern about Katerine's character after the first episode of the season, and they have just continued the character's decline. Really disappointed in seeing how that's progressing.

after susan shot katherine, she (katherine) was going to call the cops. because the gun was registered under the new family's real names, the mom (can't remember her name) convinced katherine not to go to the cops. she convinced her by saying that if she sends susan to jail, mike will never forgive her and thus ruin any chances of getting back together with him.

dunno why they didn't send the girl to a public school. i'm assuming the other girl is still in private school? haha.

and i agree that it's a shame with what they're doing with katherine's character.

Just watched my recording. I believe she WAS in public school. They were looking for a private school after she got kicked out.

I know this show stretches reality, but no student is getting kicked out of public school for that.

Also enjoyed the scenes homeschooling her daughter ("Ironing is not gym class." )

It's too obvious they are trying to make Katherine a replacement for the departed Edie. But Dana Delany is great with what she's being given...even if the progression of her character doesn't entirely make sense. I wonder if she'll become the damsel-in-distress (much like Susan was last season's finale) as she gets too cozy or nosy with Angie.

she wasn't kicked out. if i remember correctly, she was just going to be suspended or something. and had mop up duty at the cafeteria.

wasn't it gabby that pulled her out of the school after being criticized for her parenting?

I guess I wasn't paying close attention. I thought she was booted because Gaby didn't want her doing cleanup, and then cursed off the principal.
