I'll restate how great it was that Michael's costume was Justin Timberlake's "dick in a box" character.

Can someone post a good .jpg of Michael wearing his Halloween costume?

They really need to update the opening credits.

True, but maybe she just grew up with it and, hence, is OK with it due to that reason.

(However, tell her that December 25th was originally a pagan holiday and I bet she'll go ballistic! )

Will this work?

<object width="640" height="467"><param name="movie" value="http://www.megavideo.com/v/0G1H6QM639756f2fd27bb4ab2c68b88d9e2fb06f"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.megavideo.com/v/0G1H6QM639756f2fd27bb4ab2c68b88d9e2fb06f" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="467"></embed></object>

Not as good as last week or the wedding episode, but much better than the mafia one.

It didn't dawn on me until Jim tried to stop the watching of the video the second time that something happened that he didn't want other people to know about.

I'm guessing NBC at one point said, "We need a Halloween episode" and they turned this one into it. The intro did not tie into the episode at all and could've been tacked onto the beginning of last week's (or almost any episode).

Creed's line was classic though.

They did the same thing in Season 5 - a Halloween open and nothing else. Not sure why everyone is so surprised they did it again.

Great episode as usual, but I don't think the show has ever really dipped in quality so I'm not surprised.

if any of you have it, rewatch the first 2 episodes of six feet under season 5, a pre office Jenna Fischer dating Rico (and she gets to swear too)

The show has had numerous cold opens throughout its run. I don't see how this was shocking in any way.

I didn't catch Michael's costume at first. Now that I know what it is, well that's just fucking brilliant.

I figured since they heard everyone's disappointment about last year, they would have made it right and done a full Halloween episode.

But they've done a full Halloween episode before ("Halloween" - Season 2). Are you saying they should have done it again? How could a show be criticized for not doing something they've already done?

I totally missed Oscar's costume on the show.

Jim and Pam are slowly turning into a-holes.

Took me a while, but I guess Kevin is dressed up as Paul Blart. Solid costume choice.

I wouldn't admit to getting a 5th Element reference either.
