Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
Pretty dull episode.
I noticed that. What the hell is up with that? I thought he quit or got fired. Didn't Kring fire all the writers or something over the summer? Maybe this was penned prior to that. |

Fuller left like 5-6 episodes in. I don't recall how far he actually penned though...

Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
I liked this episode ok. It wasn't great, but I didn't think it was terrible. Ali Larter is a terrible, terrible actress, and she wouldn't be working if she was mildly less attractive. Really, the story is only great when it focuses on Peter, Sylar, and Noah, in my view.
The larger problem is that on Mondays Heroes, a show about individuals with super powers (which I'm inclined to like), manages to come away less interesting week after week than Greek (a show about the Greek system, which I'm not pre-disposed to like). Something's very wrong there.

The latest 'sode wasn't terribly interesting, but it wasn't downright terrible, either. Based on the shit we've been fed the last two seasons, boring is actually a good thing. Still, as long as there's an episode of House on at the same time, or some other show that hasn't consistently let me down, Heroes won't get first-run viewing.

Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
I believe they gave up on this show...
after last season they had an opportunity to get back on track now the show is nothing but a giant Sprint commercial, WITH commercials... a 5 minute storyline with 40 minutes of random footage now they have officially turned CW by going with the lesbionics storyline next week NBC sucks, their "next week preview" voiceovers suck donkey balls and their new gimmick is "now extra colorful" ..wow |

Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
despite my reluctance, I sped through a bunch of episodes on hulu, and have a question:
How is it that Peter still had his speedster abilities once he was touched by the Inkman? Again, this show is not THAT bad if you get rid of Hiro, Parkman, and Ma Patrelli |

Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
Last season Peter developed the ability to be selective when taking a power. I don't know if they explicitly said it but it was assumed so since he was flying other heroes around without absorbing their powers.

Re: Heroes -- "Acceptance" -- 10/05/09
I think that he has to be aware of taking the power.
I think that Samuel (aka Inkman) passed ink into his system with the handshake without Peter knowing. That's how I rationalize it.
