Real World/Road Rules "The Ruins" Season Discussion

Surprised no started a thread yet, since the season premiere was last night. First observations, I don't really understand Wes's strategy of throwing challenges, I kind of forgot how much of a douchebag he really is. I thought Chet could have sent him home. Tanya needs to retire from these shows and go to rehab, she looks awful and needs to get her life together. Looks to be an amazing season and shocking from the previews.

I didn't even know about this until I tuned in right after the Wes thing this evening. All I know is....there are lotsa girls I want in a Biblical way on this Challenge.

Yeah, Veronica is teh hot. I've always thought Susie was rocking. And KellyAnn. And Johanna. Some others too. And even the walking petri dish Tonya has her moments. The other thing they all have in common is they've been passed around more than an offering basket at Easter/the Olympic Torch/a bottle of cheap wine under a bridge. I was going to include "a stripper with father issues," but I believe some of them are strippers with father issues, so the math kind of fell apart.

I liked the rules changes, and Wes is a huge tool, but like the proverbial broken clock he had a point. Hopefully it leads away from the usual school yard pickem' all the way through again.

IIRC, it looks like it's next week's episode, though heaven forbid they would mislead the viewer with the preview.

Speaking of misleading, the preview made it seem like there's a lot of injuries and fights. I wonder if that's true?

At this point, I just feel sorry for Tanya. She's all kinds of f'ed up.

I was sooo hoping for a Darrel/ Wes fight. Little disappointed there.

Veronica is teh hot. So is Suzie. Casey's not bad either.

Sad Diem is gone already. I was rooting for the Bow Tie Killer.

I can't wait to see the Shavon episode. Hopefully it is next week.

I happened to catch some of this yesterday. My DVR screwed me because I had two things going at 8 so I couldn't catch the last 30 minutes. Maybe I'll catch a replay, I don't know if MTV does that though.

Damn, KellyAnne is hot. Why don't all these girls do some sort of porn? I'm not a big fan of Tonya, but at least she gave us some softcore porn while she was still hot.

OK, a friend of mine and I were talking about who that is at the end of the season preview. Its funny that you guys think its brad because we're arguing if its Johnny or Danny. They show Wes getting in Johny's face, but the guy at the end's beard is different than Johnny's. I think it might be Danny, but how'd he get into a fight. He seems very laid back.

Could it be they're trying to trick us and he got that in a comp?

It looked like Brad to me too. I read somewhere a while ago that Darrell and him get into a fight but don't know if it's true. I actually like Wes and the fact that he's going against the Kenny/Evan/Johnny alliance I've grown to hate over the last 3-4 challenges.

Cohutta, Wes, and (I think) Adam, which she said was, "a mistake." But she did say she was in a relationship with 2 of them (Cohutta & Wes), which would probably make Adam a drunk hook-up. In the history of these challenges, 3 isn't that much when you consider the amount of relationships & threesomes these people share with each other. Most people don't do it in so few seasons, though.
