I'll try this without looking it up. Kevin and Norm would be in their 40s, and I know Kevin has run for congress. I would guess late 30s for Becky, Andre, and Eric Nies. I have no idea how old Heather B is.

Julie Oliver (my all time favorite) was only 18 or so when the first one aired. That would put her around 35 now.

Ok...looked it up.

Kevin -43
Norm & Becky - 42
Andre, Eric, Heather - 38
Julie - 36

If he was still alive he'd be 37, but as you know he's not. He died at 22.

Kelly Anne's cartoonish juggs make for compelling television.

They go with the cartoonish makeup she's taken to wearing. She's still got a crack-a-lackin bod though.

Now if you tell me Veronica is hot, it's only because of the extra effort required to carry the 40lb bags of cottage cheese she's decided to strap to each of her hips and thighs.

Susie is now teh hot.

Casey is still teh moron.

I thought Veronica looked pretty hot in the bikini. A little bottom heavy, but still nice. I don't care for Sarah's look at all.

Re: Real World/Road Rules "The Ruins" Season Discussion

While I understand Brad being frustrated with Casey, he really has no one to blame but himself. They did win a challenge, and Casey did not go to the ruins. Besides, Casey is just all kinds of awesome so it would be disappointing to see her go.

It's funny, but Casey has won money before, and she is only on the challengers team b/c she and Wes didn't finish first. Useless she may be, but she and Wes survived many eliminations, and she was the biggest reason why (she packed considerably lighter than every other person on the show).

Sad to see Cohutta go, but it wasn't unexpected. Strange them playing up that Susie angle. I thought she was married. Then again it didn't look like she was wearing a ring. It did serve to soften Susie a little from the "bitchy" edit she's been getting.

Next week looks interesting...

Well, after seeing Susie by the pool, I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight. Of course my wife will probably be dreaming of Kenny. Evan, I could live with.

MTV sucks so bad it's not even funny. I mean there was ZERO chance for the challengers to win that challenge with 2 more girls. ZERO. Why even bother? During the Ruins, there was some tension, but there was none during the challenge and they could have substituted Casey with another female who was athletic and they still couldn't have won.

And after not caring about spoilers in their previews one bit, they actually managed to go this long with the Brad thing a mystery and what do you know? They spoil the question of the participants for sure tonight. They're doing an after the show, 30 minute special next week too. Based on that spoiler, it didn't look like there was ANYTHING that could be said now to make me sympathetic with the person doing the beating.

And why were they SO excited about those cell phones? I mean, some prizes they clearly care about more than others, but I'm not sure I remember too many times when I saw that much of a reaction. Doesn't everyone their age (and just about everyone else) have a good cell phone? Was that phone that special? I mean, they could come home and sell one of their other prizes and buy an iphone, I didn't get it.

The same reason they ham it up when "TJ" sends them a clue on their T-Mobile Sidekick, it's from a show sponsor and they have fun making joking around about it. Like 30 Rock and Cisco.

Spoiler from the previews for next week:
Spoiler:
I'm a little surprised they showed the fight between Darell and Brad, though. D was obviously punching B, so the man with the biggest bank is going home. It was choppy, but anyone with a DVR can easily see their faces.

Re: Real World/Road Rules "The Ruins" Season Discussion

about next weeks episode...

Spoiler:

Didn't we already know it was brad and Darrell? I thought they showed them fighting in a teaser before. And this must not have been a one punch fight, since it appears Darrell hits him on his left side, but the teaser shows the puffy eye on the right side. I could be mistaken though.

Wow, did susie look good in that bathing suit. All the girls left are hot.

Yeah, I imagine they make everyone act excited for the prizes they give out. As for the spoiler for next week -

Spoiler:
From what i've read, they both get kicked out but i'm not entirely sure how it plays out or why it starts.

So

Spoiler:
Brad and Darrell are both gone from the show next week. That will be a fair fight in the finals. Dunbar and all the Challenger girls vs. Kenny, Derek, Evan, Johnny and Susie. Yeah they did a bad job in pairing these teams this season.

Everything points to the fact that they just don't care about your very valid points.

I mean, I only watch TAR and Survivor in the reality genre. No dancing shows, No Idol, not bachelor, etc.

And I'm sure many of those have much better production. Yet, I'm a 40 year old man who watches the show with his 38 year old wife. Not exactly the MTV demo and we'd watch this show again if they made one right after the other. I've mentioned it before and I totally can't explain it because, while there's certainly some great eye candy, that wouldn't be enough. Something about this formula works.

I hope the "other" person doesn't end up getting kicked off because he tried to defend himself. The clip really made it look like a beat-down.

Finally, all I have to say is....SUSIE.

Exactly.

The show is a train wreck unlike anything else on TV really. It's fun to watch regardless of how unfair the teams are. I'm not watching with great anticipation of who is going to win the finale.

There is also something fascinating to me about these people that have made a career of going on these shows and touring and seemingly don't have to do anything else in life.

I like Casey, she seems like she's a fun person, and again I don't care that she's been hapless up until this point on the Ruins.

Adam got kicked off last year for his part in CT completely and totally kicking his ass, and it's hard to tell the entire chain of events based on a few seconds in the preview clip.

I just hope *SUSIE* can survive to the finale. She's going to be Ruins bound as long as she stays on the show. One wonders if the Challengers lose another guy if they'll let her pick Casey. At that point it seems unlikely that a team of Kelly Anne, Dunbar (or Brad), Sarah & Kim is much of a threat for a team that includes Evan and Derrick

I don't know if I'd go that far. It's really, really hard to defend someone who has slept with Johnny on multiple occasions. Johnny!

She is entertaining though.

Well...

Spoiler:
Even worse from the site I was reading, where Dunbar is actually gone before the final challenge too. Yikes if true!

CT is insane. They said his Brother died just before the Challenge where he and Adam fought so he was apparently ready to blow....
