I was wondering why there are no new episodes on the schedules for the next two weeks. At this rate NBC wont be able to move anything to the Friday dead zone if they have nothing with which to plug their weeknight openings (considering Trauma and Mercy are looking DOA ratings-wise).

Re: Heroes -- "Ink" -- 9/28/09

NBC should just produce a bunch of raunchy reality shows

and maybe get a Fear Factor 2010 on the air

don't they have focus group people wacth these shows and critique before they licence them

Re: Heroes -- "Ink" -- 9/28/09

The show was fair, nothing special. I still don't really know what exactly happened with the music and the deaf girl, but it's something interesting to watch. Peter's storyline is looking good, and Claire and Gretchen's love story is somewhat decent. I still think Gretchen has a power. As for Matt, well I was waiting for him to stop being a pussy. I'm already tired of Sylar being in Matt's head, but if that means no Nathan and Ma that's A-OK. Please please please don't being back Mohindar.

Trauma a bomb? Hardly LOL. 6.9M viewers still sucks for Trauma, but since Heroes is such a shitty leadin now, I was shocked that it actually gained viewers.

Re: Heroes -- "Ink" -- 9/28/09

I'm not crazy about Claire and Gretchen. She wreaks of evil to me, and Claire is pretty dumb for telling that girl all of her business after she [Gretchen] pestered her for days on end and subtly mentioned the subject in front of HRG. I would never tell all my personal business to someone who gets on my last nerve. I would've had the Haitian on speed dial.

Then again, Claire was dumb in the first place for jumping out the window where anyone could've seen or heard the crash. Gretchen mentioned using a dummy to test the theory and that's all this chick had to do. I'm sick of her and I was glad to be free of Hiro for a week.

The Sylar/Parkman story was much better this week and it didn't annoy me like it did last week.

Nothing NBC has is a really good lead-in. Given the high cost of the pilot and each episode this one likely won't be sticking around. Neither will Mercy.

I'm actually glad to see this show end in 17 more episodes , it's painful. I do agree the deaf woman was interesting. But other than that nothing is happening at all I give two shits about.

Re: Heroes -- "Ink" -- 9/28/09

I downloaded the episode from Xbox Live and thought it was an OK episode. So far this season has been good compared to the previous ones. I don't think is on par with S1(great except for the finale) but it's the best since then.

And oh yeah:
- Sylar is great again
- HRG was good
- And Claire Bear is so hot, I can only imagine her with the girl from The Nanny...

I'm pretty sure Claire used a dummy.

Re: Heroes -- "Ink" -- 9/28/09

So far, this is a vast improvement over last season ..... which simply means I don't spend most of the hour wondering why I'm still watching. Nothing great, but modestly enjoyable episodes.

Ya know, I just realized that Claire must suffer from the same ailment as the young vampire from True Blood does: they're both eternal virgins.

I'm back on board here. Heroes has been good this season thus far. I'm now really looking forward to the next episode.

do you really think we wouldn't talk about that?
One of the most commented topics, more when it was explained that she couldn't get drunk.

No wonder she looked familiar - she's been in a bunch of shows I've seen.

I thought she looked familiar, too. My parents used to love that Sue Thomas show.

I thought this was a good episode and if all the episodes are like this it would be sad to see it go.

I didn't understand Claire's conclusion after she fell out of the window. She was using the "push, jump, fall" test, fell out of the window onto the chalk outline and then said "Damn, she must have jumped."

I don't understand either, is that an actual method that officers use to help determine whether someone committed suicide? Is there that much of a difference if you fall, get pushed out, or jump?

Claire's story, as usual, was the weakest of the episode, though I'm not exactly in the age demographic that her character is supposed to relate to, I guess. I mean, every season she just gets dumber and dumber... this other girl is, if not evil, at the very least an obsessive stalker type, and this is who you decide to trust?

Rest of the episode was actually really good (haven't watched this week's yet). I like the Sylar/Parkman dynamic, even though it was really obvious what was happening. I like that he treats his power like an addiction after he used it for a bad purpose, and that Parkman tries so hard not to use but gets pushed to the brink. I also like the dynamic where it may not even be Sylar actually in there, but his own mind punishing him for doing bad. Sylar appearing everywhere was creepy and well done (and cheap to implement to boot). Just hoping they don't string this along too long.

Peter being tricked was actually a pretty good plotline, and the way the carnival guy used the ink to insert himself into the picture was a good use of powers.

Sound girl being able to see sound doesn't seem that useful... it doesn't seem like it's a "Dazzler" type of power, since nobody else can see it. But it's an interesting variation of a power and I'm sure it'll somehow work it's way into the plot.

I also like how they are focusing on just a few people per ep (they did this in previous seasons too) instead of trying to fit in every single plotline in every episode. Gives someone like the new deaf character room to develop.
