The scene at the end where the two Brits are talking and one of them says "all they need" is a pub. It strikes me that neither of them are really the pub type, at least I understand it. The head guy is probably more a "gentlemen's club" type, and his dogsbody ("Mr. Moneypenny") an aspirant to that.
Well, not everyone, but most Brits do.

Do you have a friend that has cable and access to On Demand HD? I just re-watched the episode for free today and it was glorious in HD.

^^^ Nope. I'm resigned to waiting for the eventual blu release. I'm certainly not going to pay more for digital files than I just paid for S2 on blu-ray.

Have we seen the last of Pete Campbell's baby-blue suit? Hopefully not.
It made him stand apart from the rest.

I assume that Draper's flashback was of his birth and "adoption" so how the hell does he have that memory to relive?

Did anyone else think Joan looked absolutely massive in this episode? She is usually quite buxom, but it almost seemed like they went overboard with all the padding. She looked bulkier than Peggy when she was pregnant and all the guys were noticing how fat she had gotten.

Etc.
Formicariums were first sold in the early 1930s. They became popular in 1956 with the invention of the mail-ordered formicarium: “Uncle Milton’s Ant Farm”; this brand owns the name “ant farm.”
Ant farms were made as educational toys for the observation of ants through glass. Around 20 million have been sold since 1956.

Great start to the season, glad to see most of the characters back. I wonder if Duck will show up later in the season working for another ad agency.

I dont know if they fired him, I would think he walked because he was dropped from the President spot and embarrassed, but otherwise they really had no good reason to fire the guy.
