I'm still honestly confused about how there can even be any debate about Family Guy for question 1.

Was the decision to bring it back based on fan action? Yes
Just because the intent of buying the DVDs wasn't to bring the show back doesn't diminish the fact that that was the end result.

Well, I thought Capt Archer would be a good sheep answer and I was right.
Actually Meriweather was the least annoying because he rarely talked and therefore easily forgotten.
