now that was by far, the best episode of the season. a little uneven, as the first half was better than the 2nd, but damn there were some classic moment sin the bar.

I'm finding this season feels like "sketch drama" - several good bits in every episode but which don't add up to a coherent whole. Which suggests they need a (good) story editor.

This is one of the few shows that I just don't NEED a huge story arc... I like just seeing the banter between a bunch of regular joe firemen in between calls. Give me the firehouse banter, some sex scenes, and a few slow motion action sequences in a roaring fire and I'm happy as a clam.

Up until the awful music in the last bit, this was easily the best ep of the season - hilarious stuff.

Also agreed. Give me some Lou and Tommy bustin each other balls, and the rest is gravy. Looks like the main arc for this season might just be Tommy finally choosing between Janet and Sheila. Personally I hope its Sheila.

My only hope is that they dont through in an unneccessary death to get some "value" in a finale.
