Warehouse 13 -- "Resonance" -- 7/14/09

Warehouse 13

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

A string of bank robberies in Chicago put Pete and Myka on the search for a very soothing song while Artie probes the security breach in Warehouse 13. Agent Bonnie Belski: Tricia Helfer.

I liked this enough to continue watching and see where it goes. Tricia Helfer is one busy woman post-BSG.

As long as Joanne Kelly is there, my socks are knocked off.

Ditto. Can't get enough beautiful woman on TV especially during the summer.

Interesting episode, though it was a little too sugary, especially at the end.

Re: Warehouse 13 -- "Resonance" -- 7/14/09

I think I liked it a little bit more. It was pretty boring for the first half, but it picked up in the second half. Something still feels kinda flat about the show. Maybe it's the dialogue or the interaction between the two leads that feels off.
I hope in the future there's some more fleshing out of the items they are after to make them feel more unique.

I did like the freeze camera and the "you felt her boobies" line. That made me laugh.

Re: Warehouse 13 -- "Resonance" -- 7/14/09

I liked this episode, the pacing was better.

As for the ending...

Spoiler:

The music producer had an offer to buy an entire musician's catalog of music. Turns out the offer came from the musician's daughter who was robbing banks to get the funds to buy back the stolen catalog.

Its the old adage that music heals...in this case, stolen music hurt the musician physically and psychologically. The hope is that the restoration of the music to his life will restore him as well.

That I don't know. Hopefully they can address that quickly or at least add more pieces to the the puzzle.

Re: Warehouse 13 -- "Resonance" -- 7/14/09

I just finished this and I liked it.

I think it's got enough good elements to keep me watching the remainder of the summer.

I do like the element of the mystery person trying to breach Warehouse 13. That thing that caused Artie to have some kind of mind meld was weird, but interesting.

There was some good interactions between Myka and Pete.

I guess Mrs. Frederick (CCH Pounder) will only be a recurring character.

3.4M viewers for episode 2. That's pretty darn good.

Yeah it was a bit of a snoozer and the plot resolution was silly, but the last minute was pretty darn good.

The characters and steam punk gadgets are enough to keep me watching.
