Most annoying Television commercials?

The Geico gecko is okay, but they've gone too far with all the fucking cavemen commercials and the stack of money with the eyes.

I'm also extremely fed up with the goddamn five-dollar-footlong commercials.

also, as someone mentioned, the "Maybe I'm possibly I think I'm falling for you..." whatever it is. most of those shitty songs are worse for me than just an annoying voice. I hate all Geico commercials, fwiw. Also, the ped egg infomercial when the person dumps a bunch of, what looks like, grated Parmesan out from having planed down their foot.....

I can't stand the new VW commercial with the talking VW Bug talking about the new fuel efficient car. Fuel efficiency is great, but I hate that they try to sell me on their car by saying that "IT REALLY HAULS! VROOOOOOOOOOM VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM VROOOOOOOOOM!"

This is part of the reason why I think I'm most annoyed by beer commercials. When you want to watch a sporting event, it's usually better to watch it live or at least semi-live, meaning not that big of a buffer, and what ends up happening is that I'm forced to watch commercials. And because sports games are usually long, they feed the same commercials over and over and over.

I read earlier today that Taco Bell hired Billy Mays back in June to do infomerical-style commercials for them starting in August. A shame we won't get to see them, now.

Also the ad agency that handled most of Billy's ads said they're putting them back in rotation this week. They don't plan on stopping them as long as the product is still for sale.

The "help the starving kids in Africa" commercials are an unwelcome spot of gloom in an otherwise blissfully ignorant day. I'm all about helping people, but the way the announcer is just about to cry combined with the footage of the kid crying... I feel like they are forcing me to give because of guilt and not because I want to help.

See even that was depressing.

I know what you mean about those commercials. If they want money, go petition these movie stars who get $20M per picture, not the general public who are struggling to get by as it is.

Yeah, these Microsoft commercials are very annoying because of the faux-reality of the phone calls. We're supposed to be eavesdropping on actual phone calls, but they just sound stilted and cynical.
