Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

As a non-entrant, I'm pretty impressed with what my answers would have been answers so far. I think the HBO question is the only one I wouldn't have done well on so far.

Is this really over until after the fourth? Just when it's getting good?

Yeah, if I weren't playing I'm sure I'd be bragging about how great I would be doing, too.

He's a celebrity. I'm sure he must have died last week like the rest of them.

Sure, go nuts.

Unfortunately, there is (or was, was it canceled?) a show called simply 90210.

1) Most everyone has off until Monday, and we all know these games are mostly viewed at work.

2) I've got, like, shit to do, like going to see Sonic Youth and drinking.

I'm jealous.

Not about the drinking -- I get to do that too. But the Sonic Youth thing. That's what makes me jealous.

Strangely, he answered "Rescue 911" to "Name a show featuring Bea Arthur, Betty Davis, Rue McClanahan, and/or Estelle Getty."

This is a tough one. The old show is technically Beverly Hills 90210 and yes, it was universally known as 90210 BUT the new show is just called 90210.

So should 90210 count as the old show and not the new one?

.....?

or

..... ?

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

I would go out on a limb and say that Rypro meant BH90210 not the new show. Then again I simply answered Degrassi assuming Tracer would know I meant the show that actually aired this decade, which was not the case.

They are definitely different shows, but given that up is down, etc, etc in these games, it will be obviously be ruled the same show.

I already stated my belief. So rule the opposite.

I missed out on this one, but reading the answers, I would have sucked anyway.

Not bad, but I'd want somebody we have seen on screen to be safe. If I were satisfied with somebody who is only heard and wanted to walk on dangerous ground as far as the WNYX staff criteria goes, I might go with Roger, the attorney.
