In the spirit of Degrassi, I think they should all be separate.

"The Simpsons Game" and "The Simpsons Arcade Game" are two separate games -- the former is a platformer that came out last year for a variety of consoles and handhelds; the latter is a brawler that came out in the 90s. As for which one you want to count "The Simpsons" as, beats me, but I would say "neither" since you specifically asked us to name the video game, not the TV show.

Ooops. I totally forgot about family guy.

I think the mad dash to get into the game may have hurt my chances. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Given the myriad Simpsons games, I vote no.

I got home from work early today, so I can actually follow the game live. This should be a lot more fun - all the other Sheep games I've only been able to read the thread after everything has been scored.

FWIW I think I put "The Simpsons" meaning the arcade game. (didn't think arcade was part of the actual title)

D'oh! I put 'Simpsons' thinking it was asking for a show. Whoops.

What he said. They're two distinct games and I have no idea how you'd know which one someone who just said 'The Simpsons' intended to vote for. They also could have been referring to a plethora of other games over the years. I have a vested interest in the votes counting towards The Simpsons Game, but it wouldn't really be fair to count them that way.

I go back to the comparison I made earlier to slavery. Slavery existed because it was commercially viable and there were those that justified it using circular logic (i.e. slavery was OK because people wanted to keep slaves). It was only when men of moral character started standing up to the slave traders/owners that the wheels were set in motion for the abolition of slavery. I draw a parallel to straight porn. - art
