True Blood -- "Scratches" -- 06/28/09

"Scratches"
Spoiler:
When Sookie is attacked by a mysterious creature, Bill must enlist Eric’s help to save her. At the Light of Day retreat, Jason has second thoughts about the sect’s anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve counter his doubts with flattery and promises. After snapping at Tara and new employee Daphne, Sam decides to cut and run. A bored Jessica heads over to Merlotte’s, where a smitten Hoyt falls under her spell. At another Maryann-hosted party, Tara finds her attraction to Eggs interrupted by a swirling, aphrodisiac fog.

Meh.

I didn't understand why we needed to see the pool party, we get it. I liked the beginning with the minotaur but the rest was a waste.

And it's not even on next Sunday!

I get what your saying, not that good of an episode. Bill has already reached the limit of times he needs to go off on somebody.

I thought it was a good episode. Wanted to see Lafayette turned, but the show hasn't dissapointed me so far. Sucks about next week though.

"I'm so embarrassed, I'd die if I wasn't already dead"

I thought it was good. My only complaint is I wish they would move the Maryann story along, the pool party was basically the same thing as the bar scenes from last week.

Was hoping for some naked Daphne at the end to send us off for the break

I think it was a very good episode; I was fine with the Maryann pool stuff because it will have implications for the future as Andy saw that pig appear and disappear and the partygoers eyes were turning dark, unlike at the bar.

Spoiler:
Maryann is a maened and that mythical creature turned others in to creatures as well so those party people might turn into something.

Really liked the Jessica stuff with Hoyt.

Really liked the Jessica stuff with Hoyt.

I don't remember her name (the older red headed lady) had dark eyes last week at the bar. I think she was the only one though.

Here's a thought, is Mariann the monster?

I think it's separate things. However I am surprised no one has commented how unbelievably hot the new waitress is.

I didn't find her all that hot to tell you the truth. I don't think she has anything over the main characters.

I guess I'm digging the anti vampire religious wife the most right now.

Last nights episode definitely felt like a filler. I wonder if anything is going to come from Erik's prison...

I thought that'd be too obvious, but perhaps Marianne does have some sort of connection to this minotaur like beast...

Re: True Blood -- "Scratches" -- 06/28/09

It was an ok ep, but it did seem kinda slow.

There are some really good looking women on this show. I loved Sookie's ass shots in the bar after recovering from her attack. Maryann looked delicious as always. I said it before, I love Jessica. I can't wait to see where they're going with her.

And mad love for Pam. She has to be the snarkiest smartass Vampire I've ever seen. The lines that come out of her and the lines she inspires in Erik are always fun.

I didnt like Jessica at first, but now I really do... And Im thinking that the Minotaur isnt Maryann but rather her servant.

I am still hoping for an Eric/Sookie road trip to Dallas, but it sounds like that won't be happening without Bill tagging along.

the "minotaur" is the new waitress at Sam's place...at the pond she had the healed scratches down her back...
