I think it's pretty clear he Glamored the little girl. She was scared and only lost that fear after he focused on her. By that I mean she would not have let him in if he hadn't Glamored her.

I dunno, I was thinking about it the other day, and I think he's been around long enough, he knows how to influence what some people do without resorting to Jedi mind tricks.

Then again, it could have been the writers forgetting their own rules!

I took it that the little girl just trusted that he was going to stop Jessica from killing her father, or at least end the confrontation. There even seemed to be an undertone of her father being somewhat violent so maybe she wanted Bill to hurt him.

That may actually prove the point. Remember how the cop responded to everything in a monotone and just did exactly what Bill told him to do? If you compare that to the girl, she wasn't responding in a monotone and was asking Bill questions in regards to what he asked.

Since someone mentioned that the bullwolf looking thing was a minotaur I'm starting to think it may be Marianne or the pig? I always felt like she had a greek goddess-like look with her clothes and house. Assuming the poison scratch can control people, it would also explain why Daphne visited Merlotte at the end of the ep.

Look

The vampire cannot enter the house unless invited and remember bill told sookie in S1 that he cannot enter if he forces her to invite him in

Maybe the jedi mind trick isn't considered force. Maybe it is more of a powerful seduction.

Then I guess people just look for reasons to say that the writers fucked up. It is just as valid to say the girl was scared into inviting him in as it is to say he glamored her. The biggest difference is that they have already stated that he cannot glamor someone into inviting him in. That being said, the viewer should infer that the girl was so scared that she just invited him in because he told her to and she just wanted it to all stop, not because he glamored her, because we know that is impossible.

I thought it was pretty clear that he scared her into letting him enter. Then he glamored them all after he got in.

Yeah

people are actually using assumptions not layed out in the script to prove the writers fucked up

Yep. Glamored. Anyone saying otherwise is wrong

If he was only trying to scare her to let him in, it was a piss poor scare

Did he say he couldn't glamour someone to let him in, or he couldn't force someone?
