I think that just means she survived the attack but didn't have vampire blood to heal completely.

I think the minotaur is still tracking her.

That's the conclusion I came up with.

I'm just saying that she had healed scars on her back. A minotaur(not herself) ripped her and instead of killing her it changed her. It might be something that Maryann summoned up to get rid of Sookie.

I thought this episode was a tad boring, to much Jason and Tara stuff. I need more Eric and Sookie!!

Give me less Tara and Mary Anne, and more Erik and Pam.

I have liked what they have done w/ Jessica so far this year.

No spoilers in response to my comment please, but I am hoping they follow through with the foreshadowing of Sookie being given Eric's blood. That could create a lot of interesting situations.

"True Blood's" third episode received its own 3.7 million viewers at 9 p.m., which blossomed into 5.1 million once the 11 p.m. replay was through.

In its second season, the vampire drama has been outperforming its freshman season by 38 percent in weekly averages. Its current gross audience of 10.8 million viewers a week includes network airings, HBO On Demand viewership and DVR numbers.
Those are pretty impressive numbers!

I'm guessing the Twilight crowd has been tuning in. I also suspect that Jessica was added to the show for their benefit.

Agreed on all counts. Tara is so damn annoying. Wish they would kill her off already.

I don't know. Sometimes she's annoying, but sometimes (not this season, unfortunately) she's kind of endearing.

I would guess it's the DVD crowd. At least that's what it was for me. Picked up the BR set and watched the first season in a couple of days.

I'm really liking Eric. But more than that, just the vampire society and government in general. I know they like sex and blood, but how they function and govern themselves in this new era of theirs is of more interest to me.

Agreed. I've always been fascinated by stuff like this. The 1st "Blade" had that Vampire Governing council with members from all over. "Underworld" had the American Coven and the European Coven. I'm reading a book now that has Vampires, Werewolves, and Fae and they all have their leadership with local sheriffs and groups responsible for security of their respective species in the modern world.

Like you said, it's inserting to see how these Old World beings have had to adjust to the modern world in terms of how they govern themselves. Of course they keep a lot hidden so there's still a lot of the Old Ways still intact.

I wonder what Bill meant when he said, "I had to Glamor them to within an inch of their lives"? I know he Glamored the little girl to let him; and I just assumed they had some memory wipe. But he must've done something else.

Because the show's already had 5 or 6 girls that are way hotter, some of them naked.

Eh, maybe she's just my type, but I have found her one of the hottest yet.

Other than the other Vampires, Eric, Pam, and that other guy that's basically it so far with the exception of Maryann.

Maryann...Supernatural Party Planner, Pig Handler, Big Eater, Self powered Vibrator, Orgy coordinator, and expert Joint Roller.

I'm pretty sure it was something about within an inch of losing their sanity and not their lives.

Re: True Blood -- "Scratches" -- 06/28/09

Why does everybody assume that he glamored the girl to let him in? Just because he encouraged her, and even somewhat ordered her? She didn't look to be under any kind of spell to me. She may have been frightened, and did it because she was scared, but I don't think he glamored her. He couldn't have, as per the 'rules'.
