LOST's Season Six - An extra hour for 18 total?

http://twitter.com/EWAusielloFiles Apparently the plan is to have 16 episodes, with both the premiere and the finale to be two hours long. So much for '48 pieces of the mosaic'.

Sounds great to me. They probably need it to better flesh out the final season. They have so much to cover it's going to be insane. But I couldn't be more excited to see the final season!

...watch them ask for a third hour for the series finale come february/march... they're used to writing two hour finales anyway (technically 3 in seasons 1/4), they'll probably want it to make the series finale feel satisfying and not rushed.

People were complaining that the 23-24 episode seasons (season 1-3) had too much filler. At least you know the writers planned and mapped out these shorter seasons.

I just don't want the show to end
 , it's fucking amazing. I want full Statue, Island, Smokie, etc. episodes, not rushing through it like it's going on.
